Great little hostel in the perfect location!

Pros: This hostel is in a fantastic location. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable and the private bathroom was clean. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Cons: A little on the expensive side but expected for Barcelona. The stairs are steep but again expected due to previous reviews. Unfortunately the second morning other guests were quite loud outside our room, but nothing against the hostel or staff.

For that money, it's quite okay.

Pros: Excellent location, decent, for 2-3 nights quite okay. Friendly staff.

Cons: Climbing to the 4th floor. Sound insulation is bad, you can literally hear what they are talking quietly in the room next to you. The bed was very small for two female persons. Men would not be able to sleep there.

A great small hostel in a good location!

Pros: Location of this hostel was great, and the rooms were as advertised. it is quite a small hostel with only 12 rooms so it was quiet other than noise from the road.

Cons: The desk was a bit flimsy and didn't hold weight well.

More than we expected!

Pros: Nice living room, location, have many stores, tourist area, good hygiene

Cons: 4-th floor without elevator, bathroom had smell from sewer

Pros: Excellent stay! The place was spotless, check-in was super easy, and the location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. We loved being close to so many restaurants and attractions. Perfect balance between comfort and value. Highly recommend if you want a clean, quiet, and convenient base in Barcelona.

Lovely views and clean, professional accommodation in the Bari Gothic

Pros: The room was spotless, and the location was fantastic. I particularly felt lucky having a room with two little balconies - looking out onto two streets in the Barri Gotic.

Cons: It was great that the room was not cleaned every single day or the towels changed every single day: We should all be thinking about the environment. The normal rhythm for the hostal is cleaning and towel change every two days. The only small thing that bothered me was that, when I asked for my room not to be cleaned at all during my stay and for my towels not to be changed, since I was only staying for three nights in total, the room was still cleaned and my towels were still changed after my second night. It was nice to have a spotless room and new fresh towels, but I would have preferred for them to have just been left. Other than that one small thing, I had a great stay.

Pros: Fabulous location, very easy to get to buses, trains & plenty of great places near by to eat & buy essentials. The stairs to get up to the hostel keep you fit, after all the food you consume 🙀 The property is lovely & clean. Staff are so helpful too 😁

Great host, perfect location, good night’s sleep in a comfy bed.

Pros: Very central location, fabulous host, extremely clean, felt safe and at home.

Cons: Shared shower room had a loud shrill noise when you switched on the light. I’m sure it will be fixed shortly so. The 70 plus steps may restrict who is fit enough to stay there. It was fine for us though.

Pros: Very good location and very nice staff The only thing that you need to know is that there is no elevator and it's a lot of sharp stairs . Not for elderly and disabled people!!! Also, the room has no AC only fan. They staff are very nice and they let us leave our luggage after checking out .

I really liked it.

Pros: I am very happy with my stay at this hostel. The location is very good. The lobby is always cool because of the air conditioning. The administration is very friendly and ready to help.
