Montserrat Apartments by gaiarooms

Pros: The apartment was well equipped and beautiful, with an amazing view of Sagrada Familia!

A huge and beautiful apartment, but cold. A really complicated check-in process.

Pros: The apartment was truly enormous and had a beautiful terrace overlooking the Sagrada Família. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The pillows were absolutely fantastic.

Cons: The negative side of this apartment was that it was really cold. For such a huge apartment there were two air-conditioning units available, but one of them did not work very well. Another negative aspect was the check-in process. I had booked the apartment months in advance, and before our arrival we received quite a few fraudulent emails telling us to check in. The apartment management also informed us through separate messages that these emails were a scam. Before check-in, we had to enter a large amount of personal data through their app and pay the tourist tax. Given that they had obviously had security issues with their reservation system before, I really did not feel safe doing this. The apartment did offer the option to enter all this information on their tablet at the apartment location, but that seemed even more risky to me. I would also add that the refund of the security deposit takes quite a long time. I am writing this review 14 days after our return, and I still have not received the deposit back.

We found the apartment easily. Room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived at the time given but the housekeeper said 6 minu

Pros: Location was perfect. Easy to find. The bed was comfortable. Shower was amazing, hot & powerful. Very clean apartment.

Fabulous location

Pros: The location was amazing & the apartment was nice and big

Cons: One of the air conditioners didn't work properly. And 2 of the 3 bedrooms didn't have doors.

Very central and affordable!

Pros: Location was very central! The room was big. Facilities were great and complete.

Cons: The sofa bed was a bit old and dirty. There were not enough sheets and pillows for the bed and the sofa bed.

Great apartment in a good location.

Pros: Great apartment, spacious and good location. We were very impressed with the size of the apartment and it was clean with good amenities.

Cons: We didn’t get any water in the apartment upon arrival, we didn’t get fresh towels during our stay or have a cleaner. The air-con didn’t work properly and the lift was a bit dodgy!

Pros: They way I checked in, it was complicated to me. I spent 30 minutes outside, just trying to go inside.

Pros: All ok but no ventilation and we feel we are in a basement No windows for fresh air..we feel this is not fair😭

Cons: There is not enough ventilation and no windows to view outside…although there is aircon/heater but it is not enough because we paid the required amount and we expect to be given a nice room with windows 😢 we felt we are in a basement 😭

Pros: Professional staff that responded quickly to any questions. Great location and huge apartment! Everything you need! Exceeded our expectations! Beautiful view😊

Excellent location with a smooth and convenient check-in/check-out process

Pros: I really appreciate this type of property access—quick and hassle-free, without unnecessary waiting for the landlord for check-in / out

Cons: I expected a better view from the room; in the pictures, it showed a terrace, but in reality, it was just the wall of the neighboring building
