HOTEL CONTINENTAL

Just make a few changes to facilitated customers better. Especially in the off season

Pros: The staff were friendly and polite and very helpful.

Cons: The towels had stains on it. Even though they had been washed. And the cleaners need to sweep the floor and not just. Empty the bins and change the towels. And also clean the tiles around the shower & bath. There was no food available, although online it said there would be breakfast available. And the vending machines were almost empty. But there are cafes and restaurants on the same street. And in the main shopping area is a 3-minute walk. Also, at most hotel's they have a welcome pack. With a small kettle and two cups, tea, coffee, a biscuit, milk, sugar. Which would have been nice as the restaurant was closed. Also as the area has a hot spot across the road. You will be able to smoke on your balcony. So you're safe and not affiliated With the local drug dealers. Aside from these few people, it's a peaceful and friendly area. And 5-10 mins walk to callela station where you can catch. The train to Barcelona and explore. And also connected at El Clot to get the train for Joseph El prat airport.

Excelente

Pros: Excelente Hotel , cálido , el personal muy servicial

We was only one day/night, good choice, but dated.

Pros: Excellent central lication, big and quiet room, very friendly reception.

Cons: Thin walls, we hear neighbours very well.

Very clean and it’s very comfortable plus the staff are very welcoming.

Pros: Walking distance to everything and 10 minutes walking to the beach. Perfect

Cons: Nothing to complain about

Pros: It was clean everywhere. We asked personal for additional towels, they did our request immediately. Also everyday they cleaned our room and brought additional soap and shampoo. Air conditioner was working well, TV worked as well. I liked hotel location. 6 min and you are swimming in the sea

Hassle-Free

Pros: Accessable from train R1, shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. Spacious room for family, air conditioned and hot water bathtub. Peace of mind with the room service. Essentials in the room were good, clean linen, etc.

Cons: Don't expect to depend on their in-house restaurant or breakfast bar. They might provide it if you ask but not really worth it, step out for better local bites. Not a hotel with great finesse either. You wont miss niggles like no bathroom door lock, broken or about to break fixtures, things that remind you that you picked a cheap accommodation. We didn't try to use the pool.

Pros: Cheap price, everything was Ok for this price... Air-condition was excellent..

Cons: It could be a little bit cleaner, blankets should be from this century, not last century.. Also, small fridge would be great in room

A charming (& affordable) step back in time!!

Pros: The Hotel Continental is a glorious blast from the past, if you want to feel like the holiday makers of the 60s and 70s YOU CAN! Unbelievably affordable for it's nostalgic charm, additionally the staff were so accommodating. We loved our stay in the family room! Long live The Continental :))

Cons: If only the bar and pool were open we'd have been overjoyed!

Pros: Great location in the city, dogs are allowed and it doesn't matter how much they weigh - we had two (small poodle and 20 kg bordercollie). Great stuff.

Cons: Parking was further and paid.

It Was Cheap but Very Agreeable

Pros: I paid £65 for a twin room for 2 nights in a hotel just 8 minutes stroll from a glorious sandy beach. The beds were clean and comfortable, the WiFi was generally very good and the bathroom - if a little unkempt - was totally functional. The staff were outstanding. Did I expect a great deal more for what I paid? No, because I'm not an imbecile! Don't pay for budget and expect luxury.

Cons: Yes. It's a little faded. But long live The Hotel Continental!
