The Hotel Onix Liceo Barcelona

Pros: Its Closeness to los Ramblas. The Metro Station. The bus to the Airpot is a 15 minute walk. The room cleaned every day clean towels. Breakfast is Continental. Overall its a nice hotel and central to everything. And i would stay there again. The Staff are extremley helpful and obliging and a pleasure to deal with.

Cons: No Bar. And no tea or coffe making facilities in the room. But tea and coffe is available on the lounge area 24 hours a day.

Enjoyed the stay, staff friendly

Pros: Clean room, could do with an iron for clothes and tea/coffe making facilities in room, although there was a coffee machine in the hall. Friendly staff Location was great, out of silly season pricing (i was at ISE) i would say this could be value for money but supply and demand kicked in at £250 per night!!

Cons: No tea/coffee in room, no iron

Pros: The hotel was excellently located. Right near to main street -La Rambla and located near to 2 metro stations which is a great plus. Good restaurants and supermarket located nearby. Staff was very cooperative and gave genuine insights us being tourists. Good property and in reasonable price.

Cons: The lights in the room were quite low so the hotel should work to increase that or install floor lamps to enhance the lighting in the room.

Pros: Despite some noticeable shortcomings, I actually really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It felt safe and the room was always pleasant to return to. It was very rainy during our visit, but the room never got damp like the buildings in southern Europe often do, even when we had the window open. And being able to open the window was a real treat. We also enjoyed the view to the back gardens. The free coffee/tea/water station in the lobby was great.

Cons: Even though no street noise was audible, the room walls were definitely very thin and we could hear the other guests (especially children screaming/running around and phone alarms buzzing - pretty annoying when your own alarm is set for later). Surprisingly, I wasn't super annoyed about it and still felt good about the hotel, but worth mentioning. The room got pretty stuffy at night and it felt like the duvets didn't breathe well. However, once we decided to crack the window for the night, it was perfect (likely not an option with a very warm weather).
