Happy People Plaza España Apartments

Lovely apartment.

Pros: Really nice apartment, good facilities, pretty spacious. Good hosts. We only stayed one night & due to train delays, barely made use of the apartment other than to sleep in.

Cons: Struggled to work out how to put the heating on in one of the bedrooms - it was a bit nippy in Feb. If we had stayed longer, the 'living room' space of the apartment might have not have been quite what we were looking for - it was a bit like a waiting room with a sofa.

A fabulous spacious flat in a brilliant location.

Pros: The space was fabulous, well equipped, spacious and clean. We loved the terrace on the top floor too. The key code was an easy way to get in. There was a welcome pack with tea, coffee and dishwasher tablets, very helpful. We really appreciated the area, a short walk to 2 metro stations that take you quickly into Barcelona's centre, the square nearby was full of bars and restaurants frequented by locals, we enjoyed eating there on 2 nights and not paying tourist prices.

Cons: The acoustics from the room above kept us awake. The guests above us were not noisy, but we could hear them shower, using the bathroom, turning in their beds. Better ceiling insulation is needed and thats why I cant give the flat a 10/10, otherwise it was perfect and we would stay again (with earplugs).

Highly recommend

Pros: The apartment was very clean and confortable. It is in a great location, with lots of good bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. There are several Metro stations and the train station nearby too. Parking can be expensive but we found the Aldi car park reasonable, about 4 mins walk, we booked it online through Parclick very easily.

Cons: The street could be noisy in the front bedroom.

The apartment was comfortable, clean and was in a very handy location

Pros: The location had easy access to food, train station and local sites

Pros: Apartment was cozy and comfortable with high ceiling, colorful design. Location was perfekt with metro or walking to Placa Espania

Cons: The street was crowded and noisy even in the night time or early morning. Windows are wooden made and not enough to stop noise. Cannot slept in the mornings.

Pros: The accommodation uses a password lock, which is very convenient. The room is spacious and includes a kitchen, living room, and sofa. For four people, there are two double bedrooms.

Cons: The only downside is that the bathroom door is transparent, which can be inconvenient when staying with friends. Since there is no front desk, we couldn’t store our luggage in advance, but the host kindly helped us find a nearby place for luggage storage. We ended up leaving our bags at a restaurant nearby. Pros: Very good location, older but cute apartment, cosy, reasonably quiet. In general a good experience.

Cons: Very complicated booking - after booking in booking.com-s you have to register in a special app, sign a contract and fill a lenghty document with the details of all guests (passport, address etc), also add all signatures and pay deposit. It was quite nerve racking and time consuming. But everything worked and deposit was given back quickly after leaving. Doors only opened with electronic lock so you need internet connection for that (regular code did not work).

Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Pros: Nice looking, spacious apartment, brilliantly situated. Communication was good running up to our stay. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Cons: Might be nice to have thicker curtains with more coverage to block out the light properly. There is a flashing light on the ac units - would be nice to switch this off.

Pros: Tha place is,in a good location, and was spacious, clean, and had all we need for 1 night stay. The showers are great. The solarium at the roof top was great, to relax and have a drink. We were a group of 7, we all loved this apartment.

Cons: All was great

Very comfortable, close to shops and metro

Pros: It was larger than expected which made it even more comfortable, we enjoyed eating dinner in the courtyard and having 2 bathrooms made it easy for everyone.
