Excellent stay.

Pros: All staff were excellent, very helpful. 24hr reception was great. Building was beautiful and clean. Emergency signage was clear.

Cons: Rooms not very soundproof but we were lucky to have considerate neighbours.

Most excellent place to stay in Barcelona, brilliant location!!!

Pros: Super convenient location, just off La Rambla. Plenty of eating options just a moment's stroll from the property. Room was basic, but as expected. Breakfast was great, nice coffee machine to help yourself, and a continental style food offering.

Cons: Strong smell in the room, couldn't work out if it was paint or mothballs.

Pros: Great location, close to the Metro and walking distance to La Rambla. Fantastic value for money and would definitely use this hotel again.

Cons: The breakfast was very basic but acceptable. The coffee however, was abysmal.

I recommend this hotel

Pros: The property was very very clean and in close proximity of the main atractions ( we didn’t use any transportation because was very close to everything).

Cons: I don’t have anything to add because all was great. Was very clean, the breakfast was very good and fresh and the staff was very helpful and kind. When I’ll visit Barcelona again, here I will book my stay for sure!

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds.

Pros: The hotel was great and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable and the staff were amazing. The rooms are basic, but that matches what you’re paying for — it’s a decent price for staying right in the heart of the city centre. The photos clearly show what to expect. The building is dated, but cosy. We travel a lot and usually keep hotels simple since we’re out sightseeing most of the day, so this was perfect for us. The location was excellent, with lots of food places nearby, and both the Picasso Museum and La Rambla within walking distance. There was also plenty of halal food around, which was a big plus for us. We went with kids and there was a lift to get to our room, which made things much easier. Would highly recommend.

Cons: Everything was great. Just some constructive advice: Please keep the cheese in a separate plate from the meats and confirm if it’s a vegetarian cheese at breakfast

Good location and affordable

Pros: Location - Just less than a 2-minute walk from Liceu metro station. Breakfast - the hotel offer a very decent set of food for breakfast Hotel building - the inside is very vintage looking

Cons: The room assigned to us was a bit small for 3 people but it was fine for us since we will only stay for 2 nights. There was a not so good smell coming out from the bathroom drain. Even though the bathroom door was closed, the smell still bothered us on our first night but too tired to complain. On the second night, we just covered the drain with a wet towel to minimize the smell. But overall, our group had a good stay at the hotel.

Everything very good. Its a 400 year old former monastery

Pros: The rooms do not have TVs. That is a very plus point for me. Breakfast is basic but sufficient.

Cons: The staff loudly clatter the dishes at breakfast as if trying to get rid of guests. Like all beds in Spain, they are very hard.
