Very pleasant stay!
Pros: The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the metro and many of the attractions. Friendly staff and breakfast prepared on site. I recommend booking a room there.
Cons: I recommend changing the pillows as they are very low.

Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is spacios and quiet. Location is excellent.
Cons: We cannot control individual lights. We had to turn on or off both bedside lights at the same time.

Great place to stay, would be happy to return
Pros: The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. The property was very quiet for such a central location. The reception is 24 hours and also on the premises, which isn’t always the case. I liked having a kettle to make my tea, although some milk would have been welcome.
Cons: The pull out bed in the second bedroom was very odd. It was far too high even for my companion, who is 6ft tall, so we had to improvise. She couldn’t reach all the crockery in the kitchen cupboard either. Obviously intended for very tall guests!

great stay...
Pros: The location is superb! Near Plaza Catalunya which is the main hub for transportation in Barcelona... a few minutes walk to some of the Gaudi houses too! the hotel is excellent, the beds were comfy and the room feels homey...there is a lovely rooftop and kitchen has 24 hour free hot drink machine...highly recommend for families, friends and everyone.
Cons: nothing to mention...everything is on point! perfecto...

Great place to stay, enjoy and return.
Pros: I much enjoyed my stay at Hostal Grau, I would definitely choose it again for a future trip. The location is perfect, one can easily get from the hotel to most famous places in Barcelona by foot. The stuff was most welcoming and helpful. The ladies who served the breakfast were very dutiful and kind. My friends and I enjoyed the complimentary coffee, tea and filtered water which were continuously available. We also took advantage of the rooftop bar, a cost place to wind down after a visiting day.
Cons: It’s not that I didn’t like, but I would’ve preferred a more naturally illuminated window. My room’s window faced a wall and it was quite dark even during the day. However, I appreciated a lot that the hosted tapered it with climbing green flowers. My friends had a room with windows facing a courtyard and it was very illuminated by day. They had three beds. Maybe next time I would consider asking for such a room.

Small lovely hotel with a roof terrace two steps away from Placa Catalunya
Pros: The location is good, close to Placa Catalunya and old city. But the neighbouring El Raval neighbourhood is a bit tricky and does not feel the safest place. There is a playground nearby which is clean and good. And there is a great bookshop. The breakfast in the hotel is good and omelette prepared the way you like is great. The choice is limited, but there is enough for breakfast. There is a play area for children in the hotel which is very good! In general, a very good place, with friendly staff and a lovely small roof terrace.
Cons: Both windows were looking at the wall. Even though they are trying to make a green wall with plants, this is not what you would expect when checking in. As a result it was dark in the rooms, not much light in the morning, and feels like a cave a bit. The mattresses were not great, a bit too soft, and not great for a back after a long walk in the city.

Pros: Excellent room and location. Staff were great - very helpful. i'm a wheelchair user and it was great to have a room that lived up to it's description on the website in terms of accessibility - this made our stay even better.
Cons: Sofa bed was broken.
