Lovely hotel in the center of Barcelona

Pros: Appartement was clean, cozy and comfortable, in the center of Barcelona. Location is superb, close to many traffic stations and also station for airport shuttle bus. There are lots of markets and bakeries near by. Promenade is just few minutes away, and many of city landmarks are walk-close. Building is locked during night time, so it is very safe. Hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful, there were no problems with our late check-in. We loved it there.

Pros: Very convenient location, the room was clean and beds comfortable.

Cons: I was more than surprised that I had to pay tax which was over 60 euro for 3 people for 4 nights. It was not mentioned on the hotel's page. If other hotels include it in the cost of the stay no wonder this one seemed to be cheaper....

Pros: Excellent quality for that modest price. Although the rooms are rather small, it is not a problem for short-term stay. Ecerything was clean and staff friendly. Definitely I will come again.

Pros: Superb location less than a minute from the metro and a few minutes walk to La Rambla. Great staff, really friendly and a pleasure to deal with

Cons: The place is a little dated but still represents great value in a great city. My room was very clean, had regular towel changes plus the bed made up every day

Pros: We are very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The staff is really nice and friendly . I really adore the location of this hotel. It is located next to the metro station and different important infastructure. Lots of different stores and caffes are there.

Cons: despite of the great location, this district is very noisy. I understand that it's not the hotel's fault, but ,nevertheless, I couldnt sleep very well because of the loud people and cars during the night.

Pros: We had a very nice stay at Hotel Pelayo. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Peter was especially cheerful and supportive. The only small downside was that the soundproofing could have been better, but overall we were very satisfied and would recommend this hotel
