Pros: Everything! The Service, the room, the staff, the food, the location..i could go on and on and on..i was extremely happy!

Pros: Excellent location, rooms spacious and clean, staff ect really friendly, breakfast is good and the restaurant food is lovely.

They must take better care of the breakfast as a 4 star hotel.

Pros: The location, staff and cleanliness were very good.

Cons: Didn't like the layout of the room where the shower is beside the bed and exposed. The sink is in the same room as the bed too. Whatever you do or expect, shower, sink and bathroom smell different and should be separated and have its own door with strong ventilation otherwise the room will get the same smell with windows closed specially. The stuff which should bee warm in the breakfast, like beans, eggs and beacon were cold.

Pros: I really liked the room as well as the very friendly and helpful front desk staff. also the view from the room was excelent and it is in walking distance of a lot of places to eat or visit

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at Olivia Balmes Hotel and would highly recommend it. The hospitality was excellent — the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always helpful, which made the stay feel very comfortable and relaxed. The room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with effective air conditioning that was much appreciated. Despite the hotel’s central location, the room was peaceful and allowed for a great night’s sleep. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around the city, and the breakfast was very good, with a nice variety and good quality options to start the day. Need to mention also the surprise birthday cake, which has gone beyond I had expected. Overall, a great hotel offering comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. I would happily stay here again.

Cons: I had a bit of payment issue at the very first beginning of the booking. I blame the booking platform, but not the hotel though. My comment therefore, book via the hotel's official website instead. You will pay direct in their hotel website which makes life easier.

Pros: We spent a wonderful weekend at this hotel in Barcelona and were extremely satisfied with our stay. The location is excellent — perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The hotel staff were truly outstanding: professional, incredibly friendly, and always willing to help. From the moment we arrived, we felt very well taken care of. A special mention goes to Rafał, a Polish member of the staff, who was exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming. His support and positive attitude made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The room conditions were excellent — clean, spacious, and very comfortable, which was especially important as we were staying as a family of three (my wife, our son, and myself). Everything was well organized and met a high standard. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would happily return. Highly recommended for both couples and families visiting Barcelona.

Pros: Comfortable hotel in a busy location. I had an issue in relation to communications with the hotel, though once informed they made every effort to make up for it and to accommodate my needs.

Cons: Swamped with messages and they didn't read mine.

Pros: I initially had a little issue with my booking, but the hotel manager was absolutely amazing in handling it. They upgraded me to a suite for free and really turned the situation around. Beyond that, the hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of Barcelona, and everything is spotless and welcoming. The staff is so friendly, and those welcome drinks were such a nice touch. I’ll definitely be staying here again whenever I’m in Barcelona—highly recommend it to anyone visiting
