Nice hotel in good location and great breakfast.

Pros: Great, helpful staff! Excellent breakfast with full buffet and eggs to order. Large dining room. Location to La Sagrada Familia about a 32 minute casual walk (in good weather). Near a number of restaurants. Outdoor restaurant by pool was a nice place to eat, but very slow (as is often the case in Europe) service. I've travelled the world and Barcelona is one of the coolest places we've been. The architecture alone was worth the visit. Just amazing and a pleasant surprise.

Cons: Small elevator (could only fit 4, or 2 with luggage, but rather modern and safe.

A perfect oasis in the centre of Barcelona

Pros: The staff are exceptionally helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. We travel to Barcelona a few times a year and recently decided to try the Alexandra instead of our previous hotel. Needless to say the Alexandra is our new favourite. Love the vibe of the pool. Perfect for a morning of relaxation before hitting the sites or shops.

Cons: Nothing, if anything the aircon could be a be a little cooler in the warmer months.
