Le Meridien Barcelona

Great location and has what you need! The business centre is insufficient if you need to work though

Pros: The room was small but great as it had what we needed. The bathrooms were newly renovated, there were a lot of towels and the shower pressure was excellent. The staff were really nice and helpful too! It was in a very central location and there was a starbucks right around the corner. The rooms were clean and there was a gym as well!

Cons: The location is great for tourists but a couple streets away was the dangerous part of town. The cleaners were very hit and miss too. Sometimes they did an excellent job and other times it was not cleaned properly.

I think they should not charge extra

Pros: They charged me 100 euros as guaranty but still they have not returned yes the money to my credit card

Pros: Staff went above and beyond to answer questions or provide a service. Great location, close to the Main Street yet quiet

Ideal location for a quick stay in Barcelona

Pros: Location was ideal for being in the heart of the city. Staff super helpful and friendly. Comfy room and nice and quiet for sleeping.

Cons: Online booked a king size bed but when got to hotel was not available. :(

We stayed four nights over new year. The Gala dinner on 31 December was memorable and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Pros: Excellent location, food and beverage offering good, exceptionally helpful staff.

Cons: The lounge area on the ground floor was a bit stark - I would have liked to have seen more traditional decorations for Christmas and New Year.

Perfect for our short stay in Barcelona.

Pros: Great location, staff were exceptionally friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean, would recommend to anyone travelling to Barcelona, and would stay here again if we returned in the future.

Superb location

Pros: superb location, close to everything by walk. very close to La Rambla, but quet enough. the staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons: the room is average, tv should be upgraded, quite thin walls to hear the neighboors. the breakfast was average, coffee is poor, breakfast room overcrowded.

Cons: some confusion in the staff about my reservation when I arrived snd they were quite rude and abrupt. the mistake was the staff member but no apology was forthcoming. at breakfast the option of having poached eggs to make eggs Benedict would have made the breakfast perfect

Pros: Everything was perfect, all staff were all very helpful and polite, and breakfast had lots of choices. The hotel is located in the best position. Couldn't ask for more. We will definitely return and recommend it to all our friends!

Pros: We had a spacious twin bedded room. The beds were very comfortable and wide, with space between them. The bathroom and shower were excellent. We had both a kettle and a coffee machine, and complimentary bottled water was supplied every day. Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful, including the late evening staff. The location was very convenient; easy to walk to many sights and close to two metros for travel further afield. Also easy for the airport bus. All in all highly recommended.

Cons: It would have been nice to have more than 2 milk sachets supplied each day.
