Hotel Continental Barcelona

Pros: I stayed at Hotel Continental Barcelona from the 7th to the 9th of March and had a really pleasant experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right on La Rambla, which makes it very easy to explore the city and reach many attractions on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I really liked the unique, colourful style of the hotel. A great bonus was the 24-hour buffet with snacks and drinks available, which is very convenient after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you want a central location, friendly atmosphere and good value in Barcelona. I would definitely stay here again.

Magnificient

Pros: Wonderful staff,great facilities and food and drink 24hr. Location excellent! Comfortable bed and room and great shower. Extras- fridge in room,safe,light switch board,fan/heater and blind.

Cons: Room could maybe do with an iron and we had to wait an extra 30-40mins to get into our room.

Superb choice of hotel

Pros: Location was superb - a short walk to many on my itinerary. Also Bus stops/Metro line stations all within a couple of minutes walk for those sights a bit further out.. Hotel was lovely, cleaned every day, a nice free breakfast buffet, and the staff (24/7 reception) were so helpful and knowledgeable about the city, attractions and how to get there. Viv, who usually works afternoons/evenings, was a massive help with every little trip I wanted to make, and also recommend restaurants nearby. If I go back to this beautiful city it'll be the Hotel Continental again, without a doubt

Pros: The staff were very friendly & helpful. The buffet & availability of hot drinks throughout the day was a bonus

Cons: The only thing was my bedroom was adjacent to the dining area (room 144 I think) so you could hear the diners in the morning having breakfast. I found it a little strange at first but I soon got used to it and it certainly didn't spoil my stay

Pros: Refreshments and light food available 24hrs. Breakfast was good with great coffee. Excellent location. Great staff

Cons: Lack of proper window and view. We had an internal room with a window to air and light vent which was dirty so let the room down a little. Not aware this would have been the case.

Not the greatest place, but worth it’s money and a place customers will return.

Pros: Very good location. Right in the center. Clean and me reasonable comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Cons: I personally don’t like the set up of the breakfast area. However if you come early it is still rather private. If it’s warm outside you can use the great outdoor area.

Cons: Some of the communal areas are starting to look a bit tired and could do with freshening up - but the room was very nice.
