Barcelona 1st time

Pros: Location is very central. Staff were very helpful. Clean.

Cons: There is a bar and terrace there but no one seemed to use it. No obvious bar staff around which probably discouraged people from entering.

Perfect experience. Will choose it if we come back to Barcelona in the future.

Pros: This is a perfect hotel, with perfect location, staff, room, breakfast etc. Staff provide warm welcome at reception, telling us she is learning Chinese and has been to many places in China. Room is quiet as we request when we place order, no view outside only apartments is acceptable as we need good sleep at night. Beds are comfortable and room is not small for three people. Location is quite good several R lines, metro lines nearby, and sightseeings are within walking minutes. Breakfast is good for us, although not so many options, but all we like to eat.

Cons: Be careful in the bathroom, as the glass of the shower is removable. Do not push it when you take shower.

Great stay in Barcelona

Pros: The location was great, close to Placa Catalunya and the Aerobus stop. The hotel was modern and clean, and the staff were very welcoming and efficient. They made a great restaurant recommendation for dinner.

Cons: The carpets in the hallways were very dirty.

Excellent base to explore Barcelona

Pros: Location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from Place De Catalunya where the airport bus drops you off. very central hotel. We were in a room at the back of the hotel so very quiet. There was some maintenance work happening in the room next to us and the builders were a little noisy, but to be fair we were getting up early to start the day so didn't concern up much.

Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in the room to make your own cuppa

very nice hotel in a great location

Pros: The hotel is very nice and clean, and the staff were very nice and helpful with any questions. Location is superb, just minutes from Catalunya and from the metro. Breakfast was nice. The room is very nice, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Great location and clean and tidy everywhere. Lovely roof terrace.

Cons: I was a little frustrated that I went down to reception the evening before departure to settle the payment of our group in advance so we could check out swiftly early the next morning. I paid the balance presented on the invoice, leaving a €0 balance receipt which I have in writing. When one of our group was checking out the following morning, they were told there was a €245 balance to settle, despite me confirming and paying the balance before. I argued this, only to be told they had a “system issue” and this was in fact the balance and didn’t back down. Despite having it in writing I’d settled everything, we were in a rush to get to the airport so I paid the balance of €245 and left. This left a sour taste of us, to what was beforehand a lovely stay in a genuinely nice hotel.

Good choice for visiting Barcelona

Pros: Nice and quiet which was close to the centre of town and comfortable room.

Pros: Excellent location around the corner from beautiful street with boutiques and cafes. There are also some gyms close by and bakeries and coffee shops

Cons: The woman on reception was extremely rude. I made a mistake with my booking and booked for the following year for the same dates. I was devastated as our stay was for 5 nights and it was a significant cost. She just said ‘oh well it’s non refundable so come back next year’. She did not look at me during our discussion but just at computer and colleague. My husband stepped in and asked her to call her manager who said it’s absolutely fine to change the booking and just pay current rate. It ruined our stay. The other staff were lovely.
