Well done Almanac, you nailed it.

Pros: The room was stunning and the beds were very comfy. The shower and the bath with salts was very appreciated. We have been upgraded and got two balconies in our room, this suite was absolutely stunning and very little noise from t he road as very well insulated. The breakfast was also excellent, the buffet and the service had everything you would like in savoury and sweet. Staff members were all extremely welcoming.

Cons: Maybe just the light from the mirror in the bathroom could be brighter, particularly handy for make up in the evening. The spa and sport area is very small, although very handy I could use it as no one was there but may be a problem if more people would like to use it in the same time.

Pros: The hotel was amazing and perfect for my short trip to Barcelona. The staff were extremely attentive and were always very helpful. Friends who visited who were staying at The Nobu hotel said they would all book here next time.

Good choice for Barcelona center

Pros: Excellent restaurant and hotel staff. Near everything ! Just couple of minutes from Gaudi house.

Cons: This was our second stay in this hotel, but because of room, it was not so good as first one. Actually they have two buildings- if you have room in first building (corner building) it will be ok. Second building rooms are less fancy - not bad, but definitely not the same.

Pros: It exceeded my expectations in every aspect . Everyone was super polite , facilities were great, located in the best part of the town where you can enjoy everything equidistantly and breakfast was one of the best I had in a hotel. Lastly the price for all that was very reasonable , I would have expected to cost more for all that or not to be as good as it was for that cost. There is no other place I'd stay in barcelona when I visit again .

Lovely Barcelona

Pros: This is our second time staying at Almanac Barcelona. Rooms are bright and are a good size. The beds were comfortable. Location is very good and the staff are helpful. We enjoy staying in this neighborhood because there is good shopping and good restaurants nearby and it's easy to get around. I like the decor of the hotel. Try to reserve a room on a high floor with balcony and a view of the street. It is very nice and not noisy at all.

Cons: The rooms could do with a bit of a refresh. The room rates are very expensive. My family stayed at the Almanac a few days before leaving for the countryside to attend a wedding. We decided to come back to Barcelona after the wedding to spend a few more days. However, the room prices increased so much we decided to switch to another hotel for our last few days in the city.

Very enjoyable and will return

The perfect central upmarket hotel in which to visit Barcelona

Pros: The hotel was very nice, well located for walking into the city centre and also to the old part of Barcelona. It was also within a nice walk of the Sagrada Familia. It had a nice relaxing roof top pool and bar with views across the surrounding skyline

Cons: The reception bar and restaurant area was a little small
