Hotel Nouvel

We spent wonderful 3 nights in Barcelona all full of attractions!!!!

Pros: Location, Location, Location!!!!! The location was really great!! We were going on foot to all main attractions in the city. I liked the architecture of the building from the early years of XX century. Just wonderful. The manager Mila was very helpful and really nice to talk to. The beads were very comfy, and we both slept very well. The room was cleaned every day which was nice. There are double glass windows so even if the street is noisy on Saturday evening you don't hear anything inside and can sleep calmly.

Cons: The stuff should pay attention to tea and coffee they leave in the room. They also should leave some coffee whitener to make morning coffee even better.

Pros: Great location near Rambla and Paza Catalunya yet quiet, elegant historic building, nice room with a balcony chairs and tables overlooking a cosy courtyard. Great breakfast.

Pros: The location was excellent. The rooms were clean and tidy.

Cons: Could hear a lot of banging about from the maids early in the morning

Spacious room with comfortable bed in the heart of the city @ good value for money. Highly recommend

Pros: Bed was super comfortable & large. House keeping service excellent. Rooms were kept very well every day. Room size was surprisingly large, plenty of space, High ceilings and lots of windows. Hotel location is fantastic, only steps from La Rambla / Gothic Quarter / Placa Catalunya / Bus to the airport. The Location does mean you are in the heart of the city though, so bring your earplugs if city noise such as local stores opening up & closing down/garbage collection bothers you. We definately recommend this hotel and we will stay here again.

Cons: Old building, is a little tired with some cracked floor tiles, but that's the only negative comment. It is very clean, and great value for money

Pros: Excellent location. Comfortable rooms. Quiet street (at least when we visited in Feb)

Cons: All ok

Wonderful break - perfectly clean, convenient and enjoyable stay with a lovely room.

Pros: Very clean. Kind, courteous and efficient reception staff. Lovely historic decor in the lobby. Very central in the heart of Barcelona.

Cons: Better information about how to book the breakfast please.

Pros: Very central to town and accessible to shops restaurants and metro and tour bus

Historic building perfect for exploring the Gothic Quarter

Pros: The location is brilliant, just off the top end of La Rambla, close to the cathedral and lots of great shops in the Gothic Quarter. The hotel is in a gorgeous 1920s building with a splendid foyer and sitting room. The barman in the attached bar and restaurant was super friendly. The room wasn't huge, but it had a great little balcony with a table and chairs. The bathroom was large and clean, with a good shower. Directly opposite the hotel was a great little bakery run by two very friendly sisters (didn't speak much English, but we managed to communicate okay), perfect for breakfast!

Cons: There was no fridge or kettle in the room, both of which would have been useful (although we were able to get hot water and cups from the bar downstairs).

Excellent location and staff amazing

Pros: Location was excellent and staff were so friendly and helpful.

If you want to explore the best of what Barcelona has to offer, stay here. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Pros: Great price. Superb location, Exactly as per the pics.

Cons: Location.
