Surpassed my expectations!

Pros: Loved the home cooked omelette for breakfast, which was amazing overall, and the cozy area just beyond the dining room. The place has been tastefully decorated without compromising functionality, and the staff were eager to please.

Pros: We stayed here for one night, from January 31 to February 1, and honestly, everything was amazing. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. The room was lovely — clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The building itself is beautiful and full of character, you can really feel the history in it. It was also really quiet—we didn’t hear a sound from the neighbors. Breakfast was delicious. And a special shoutout to the woman at the front desk — so friendly and welcoming.

Cons: I think there should be a water diaposer at every floor in the shared space

Wonderful stay

Absolutely charming and totally worth the price

Pros: The room was way more beautiful in life than it is on the pictures! It’s bright, stylish, and cozy, the balcony with a bathtub was amazing, I literally felt in a movie. Everything everywhere in the hotel was super clean and in a great condition, and a very pleasant little detail — it smelled amazing everywhere, and I complimented the stuff about the smell so many times they shared a bottle of the interior perfume they use with me. This is peak hospitality:) Also the location is amazing, there are many restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood and a beautiful park, but the area around the hotel is quiet and calm. And the hotel has a big shared fridge with a dining area and free utensils, so you can go to mercadona (2 min away) and fix yourself a nice breakfast/lunch with anything that doesn’t require much cooking. The stuff were all very responsive and welcoming!

Cons: The only downside was the occasional noise from the neighbouring rooms and from upstairs, which is unavoidable in an old building like that (and generally in Spain, since the walls are usually pretty thin).

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms

Pros: Location was the highlight. It was very central, close to most attractions, neighborhood felt safer and easy to navigate. We loved the staff, everyone was nice and helpful. Whole room was very clean. The building was very historical and interesting. Everything was as shown in the pictures.

Cons: Some suggestions: - Slippers for each guest (there wasn’t a rug in our room and we don’t like to walk around with our shoes on all the time) - Wall hangers for jackets in the room - Small shelf for the shower to put shampoo/shower gel - AC was too loud some nights not that bad but still annoying.

Lovely experience.

Pros: Glad to share that we had a lovely stay. We like the staff smiling and greeting us Ohla everytime. The elevator, the cleanliness of the room, the interior and uniqueness of the room. We had our breakfast and our room was immediately cleaned and towels has been changed.

Cons: We used the big mirror of the door in the balcony as our whole body mirror. Would be nice if they could add that up in the room.

Best place I've ever stayed at in Barcelona!

Pros: This place was incredible! Brilliantly located in central Barcelona not far from Plaça de Catalunya, the hotel is in a lovely grand building full of character. The room was clean, comfortable and staff were brilliant, helping me with check in queries before I arrived and making sure I could get in after arriving so late and then having to leave so early! Absolutely fantastic, will be staying here again next time I'm in Barcelona!

Loved it for 48 hours visit

Pros: Loved the location, loved the vibe - its 1888 house, with amazing details. Next door there is an amazing breakfast/brunch place called Novela, try the Cortado there - its delicious! We did not have a breakfast paid at the hotel, but at the glance it looked amazing so its worth considering. Room was spacious, as we stayed for two nights - the location was perfect, close to the metro stations, but if you have time and want - you can walk anywhere from here. Solo female + teenager - could recommend, we felt safe in the surrounding areas.

Cons: Zero to none place for toiletries in the bathroom. Only toothbrush and toothpaste can be fit on the sink, the rest - whatever you come up with. Little shelve would go a long way!

Pros: Wonderful hotel in a great location. The fact they keep old heritage in a great order makes the visit even more pleasant. The lift was amazing 😁 Room was spacious enough, bed was very comfortable and bathroom very convenient. On breakfast there was quite good choice and coffee of wonderful quality. The only disadvantage was low soundproofing but with earplugs it was not so noticeable.
