Good

Pros: The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. I would stay here again if I travel to Barcelona. Proper accomodation for the price.

Cons: It is a large apartment divided into several small rooms. People come and go in the hallway (not often), which is quite noisy in the room. I always sleep with earplugs, so it didn't bother me.

A basic, clean hotel in a central location with great staff. Highly recommended for price.

Pros: My single room was basic, but was clean and in an excellent, central and safe location. My first impression was not great, but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean, and I felt safe there. You couldn't beat the price in terms of the location, which is yards from Urquinaona metro station and about 3 minutes' walk from Catalunya Square. Most of all, the staff were great. I would suggest the installation of safes in rooms, which could be charged for, thus offsetting the costs of installation. Also more coathangers on the clothes rail. However, I shall say it again, an absolute bargain for Barcelona and I would have no hesitation in booking again.

Cons: For the price and star rating, nothing (Please see above suggestions for enhancements eg, safes and more coathangers). Not keen on the hand shower, but at least I had a private bathroom.

Small, good value for money hotel in a very central location

Pros: The room was perfectly clean and comfortable and in fact very good value for money for a private room with shower in central Barcelona. The location couldn't be better in fact, right by a metro station and within easy walking distance of all central attractions.

Pros: Location, location, location!! 2 minutes walk to Cataluna Square and 5 to Rambla. This is basic accommodation - a bed, bedside drawer, private bathroom and a pretty decent fan. It doesn't promise to be anything more so on that basis I've rated it accordingly. My mattress was super comfy, bedding and towels clean and fresh, staff really friendly and I felt super safe. It was so quiet, I slept well. There's a lift to the hostal but if you don't like lifts its up a fair few stairs. I stayed in the single room with ensuite, but I took a peak at the balcony room which looked lovely and overlooked the leafy square.

Cons: Nothing. Would just recommend a fresh paint.

Amazing value for money

Pros: Really unsure where all these negative reviews are coming from. The value for money ratio is top notch in my opinion! My expectations were absolutely exceeded - the house is incredibly beautiful and in a great location, I had a spacious room with a small balcony and the staff is very friendly and helpful! I also felt very safe in the area as well as the Hostal as a female solo traveller.

Pros: Price to quality to localization is key aspect of this place, so if you are looking for low cost place in the center, this is it

Great, be mindful of the summer

Pros: The location was perfect and the stuff great. The room is exactly like the pictures and every morning we were having clean sheets and towels. Great value for money and you also have the option for a room with private bathroom, hard to find an establishment like this in Barcelona. Highly recommend it, no matter a couple or friends!

Cons: In the summer, I would not recommend it. Not an air conditioner in the establishment either a fridge, so I feel in the summer it would be hard to deal with.

Pros: top position for walking tours in the city centrum
