Stay U-nique Apartments Urquinaona

Pros: Really unique apartment with amazing hosting by Mercedes. Great location, close to the city center and the subway. Most of the main places to visit are just a short walk away.

Pros: The apt was lovely, comfortable, stylish and it had all we needed. The location was great and the restaurant Alfonso next to it was fabulous.

Cons: Before the arrival date, I was required to fill out detailed information and sign forms. No problem. I was told that u-nique would try to check us in btwn 1and 2. Too bad we were not told that there was no place to leave our luggage before check-in or give us luggage storage information before we arrived. The apt was ready at this time but the agent who was supposed to check us in did not find it convenient to do so till 3pm. This could have been avoided and we were unable to store our luggage with the last minute information given negligently. This ruined our first day. This is the first time i encountered this kind of non service and behavior.

Pros: Unequal location situated in the most elegant neighbourhood of Barcelona and close to Barcelona's touristic attractions. Very stylish apartment, quiet and full of amenities.

More satisfying than expected

Pros: Large, comfortable, clean, excellent location. Staff (Mateo Aguilar) was helpful and friendly.

Great stay at a perfect location. This is not a hotel, has some disadvantages

Pros: The location was excellent. We had an apartment on the backside of the building. It is a spacious apartment with a lot of comfort. The host was very easy to speak to at whatsapp

Cons: It takes some time to heat up the rooms The water in the shower is sometimes running quickly out of hot water Remember, it is not a hotel. If you arrive after 1800 (20 euro) or after 2400 (50 euro) you have to pay money to the host. It says so in the text but I did read it after I booked. Also, you cannot leave your luggage in the apartment. We had to pay 50 euro for a late check out, this way we could leave our luggage in the room. This is something worthwile to explore for Stay Unique to accommodate the luggage

Super accommodation in great location

Pros: Max was very helpful with communication ahead of our arrival and met us at the apartment with keys and to show us around. The apartment was lovely and spacious. Very authentic Barcelona view which was unique. Interleading bedrooms - both nice sizes with plenty of storage space etc. Comfy lounge and nice dining room. Kitchen well-equipped. Great historic restaurant literally downstairs and small supermarket a few meters away. Location overall was excellent and walking distance to main attractions. Safe space and we really enjoyed it. Tumble dryer a bonus. The apartment feels like you are staying with family, not so much like a hotel. But it was great and everything we needed.

Cons: We were well aware of water shortages so kept showers very quick. Hot water didn't last for the 4 of us to shower so had to take it in turns.

Pros: The best thing about apartment is location. Very close to La Rambla. Apartment is very cosy and you have everything you need.

Pros: the apartment was very big, secure, comfortable, clean and the location was perfect. the interior was very cozy and beautiful. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious.

Cons: the internet was absolutely terrible. it couldn't work at all. we were given the worst network in the house and when we texted the host to help us with the issue, we were left on delivered and completely ignored. we had very important work to do and the lack of internet created so many problems. it was very rude to ignore your guests like that. if you have work to do or are just addicted to internet, i do not recommend at all.
