Very good price/quality ratio, but one could use ear plugs for better sleep

Pros: Hotel Haromar has a very good price/quality ratio. While it is 2-star hotel, one can expect there are not all amenities of higher ratings in the room, but nevertheless: beds are comfortable, everything is clean, employees are kind and helpful. We had breakfast included in the price. While the quality was appropriate for 2-stars, it was still a very broad selection, so everyone in the family could find something tasteful. Overall a very satisfying offer.

Cons: A big problem for us was the sound. One can hear people talking from several rooms away. Of course it depends on the people in the rooms near you, bu we had trouble sleeping with several guests being loud and less respective in near vicinity. I understand this is not something the hotel can easily solve, but it is good for a guest to know about this risk. Maybe bring the ear plugs just in case.

Very enjoyable and great value for money.

Pros: 4 star food for 2 star prices! Loved the quiet but central location across from the beach. Enjoyed our side sea view from the balcony. We will be back!

Value for money, good location

Pros: Good value for the money, next to the beach and every room has own balcony. Buffet breakfast was a bit German to my taste, but did the job. Big shared spaces and a bar.

Cons: Being next to a train, can be noisy. Bed and especially pillow were very uncomfortable. Room had a desk, but no chair. WiFi didn’t work everywhere in the hotel.

Hotel in quiet area of Calella

Pros: Comfortable room, whilst basic was roomy. The staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast had plenty choice. Location was exactly where we wanted to be. Perfect for the beach. Bar onsite was very handy.

Cons: Would have liked coffee making facilities Also had to hire a hairdryer by paying a refundable deposit of 20 euros...not sure why they weren't just in the room but no dramas.

Amazing

Pros: Aside from being a beachfront they have free breakfast, they also change the towel everyday which is a plus. Nice staff.

Cons: Although it is a little antiquated, we spend our entire day at the beach and only sleep there.

Pros: The hotel was good, typical old-style hotel. It had only the essentials you need for a stay in the room. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The staff, however, were extremely kind, full of positive energy, and very helpful.
