Amazing hotel, friendly staff and metro by the door step

Pros: Breakfast was great and while I booked a basic room, I have been upgraded to the upper floor suite with massive outdoor terrace. Thanks a lot. Best suite I ever had during MWC

Cons: Breakfast, staff, metro literally in front of the hotel, parking in the property (though you need to master your car as the entrance is challenging

Hotel Universal Barcelona

Pros: Very kind and helpful personal, spacios room (we had the triple room), good location, good breakfast.

Cons: We stayed for 5 days and breakfast was pretty much the same daily. Good, but the same.

Great 3 night stay

Pros: Great hotel and location. Well positioned for walking to the main attractions and access to the metro. Really comfortable beds and fantastic breakfast! Very helpful and friendly staff. Loved the roof top area with pool and gym even sat up there in the February sunshine!

Cons: Got quite noisy from 7.30am. Think it was the staff lift.

Comfortable stay at Hotel Barcelona Universal

Pros: The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room service was good. The amenities were good too. Location right next to the metro line was convenient to travel around. If you like walking. Within 20-30 mins radius, you could visit many tourist attractions.

Perfection in a nutshell

Pros: This was my husband and my favourite stay on our honeymoon! The staff were lovely and explained everything to us. We were given a free upgrade with our room and also when we entered, there was a lovely note and bottle of cava from the staff. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. Location wise, we were a walk away from many restaurants and also the market. It was a great location. We also enjoyed breakfast at The Wolf on level 1 which had a lot of variety in breakfast. We also took part in the cocktail making class with Gonzalo who taught us how to make a yummy mojito. The terrace is beautiful with great views and my husband made use of the gym. I loved everything about this Hotel and the staff were so lovely, always helping us with our questions and also getting us a taxi van back to the train station after our checkout. I would highly recommend and when we come back, this will be our preferred accomodation.
