A good hotel to stay in Barcelona

Pros: We had such a pleasant stay at Sunotel Aston. We were greated by very polite snd helpful staff,special mention to the reception lady called Princess. We were upgraded to a better room and given some recommendations where to eat. The room had tea/coffee and water and some toiletries. The bed was comfy and shower good,the rooms were not too noisy neither from inside or outside. Breakfast was plenty of hot,cold choices with a good variety of sweet and savoury. We loved it!

Cons: The hotel could do with a fresh lick of paint. It didn't affect our stay,but it would definotelly improve the general look.

Excellent value for money, good breakfast, amazing reception crew.

Pros: The hotel was very good, the location close to the venue of my conference, and also in walking distance to the city center and the Sagrada Familia. Breakfast was excellent, and vegetarian friendly. What I especially liked was that check-out was later than usual, and there was a possibility to leave the luggage until later. The reception team (Toni, Princess, Robson, Arlyn, Juan and Piotr) were very helpful and even stored my luggage in their office because of the laptop inside.

Cons: The water in the shower was not flowing away as quickly as it should, and it overflowed to the floor of the bathroom.

Pros: The first thing that we loved about Sunotel Aston was the employees who were nice to us from the beginning until the end of our stay in Barcelona. Besides being nice, they were always helpful. The facilities of the Hotel were also clean and looked good, modern even for a 3 star hotel. The room itself also provides a smart TV which ends up being a plus. The breakfast had a lot of diversity which we enjoyed and it also had some traditional elements from Barcelona. Lastly, even though it was January, we visited the rooftop and we think that it is a great summer spot that the guests could fully enjoy, with a beautiful view over the city.

Cons: Even though the room was filled with amenities, which we enjoyed, we thought the room was a little bit outdated and could use some maintenance.

Rain kept me indoors more than I planned, thankfully the hotel made that an easy choice

Pros: Excellent location, very well connected to the city center and other parts of town. The neighborhood is great too. The hotel is very comfortable and clean, with exceptionally friendly staff, from reception to housekeeping. Based on the score, I probably wouldn’t have booked it if I’d had more options, but I’m really glad I did. This hotel is seriously underrated.
