Fantastic hotel in a perfect location

Pros: We had such a wonderful stay at Axel Hotel Barcelona! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. A special thank you to Cesar, who gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and activities. His tips helped us explore Barcelona in the best way possible. He even lent us his own umbrella when it was raining which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture! The location is perfect, close to everything and very well connected with public transportation. The surrounding area is lovely, and we always felt safe and comfortable. The cleanliness was outstanding. Every day we came back to a perfectly cleaned room with fresh towels and everything nicely prepared. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona. We would definitely come back!

Pros: Situated in the heart of the gay area of Barcelona, the hotel offers 1 hour free use of its sauna and whirlpool facilities for people who have booked via booking.com. Extraordinary roof terrace on the last floor with a splendid view while enjoying a drink.

Great hotel!

Pros: Great hotel, but disappointing breakfast Everything else was perfect: very friendly staff and an excellent location. I really enjoyed my stay overall. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing and could definitely be improved. Still, I would recommend the hotel and would stay again.
