Hostal Carlos III

A convinient room near the airport.

Pros: The room was well cleaned and it was comfortable. It was quiet in the night. Only a short walk to Metro station /bus stops. Perfect if you have an early morning flight (near the airport). There is a large shopping Center which is accessible by local buses ( only 6 min. Bus ride). There are small shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The vanity in own room was a huge plus (no need to go to shared a bathroom for washing hands and brushing teeth). No waiting time for a shared toilet or shower in any case (I guess February is low season ).

Cons: The room is on the tight side (for me as a short person, it was more than enough space). There is no lift, so you need to carry your own suitcase by stairs. No fridge (although a kind receptionist offered their fridge). No coffee machine or kettle available.

Great place

Pros: For 30 euro a night its Exellent place near the airport good for flight connections. Its clean and rooms are ok.

Cons: A bit far from bus and metro if you walk with suitcase

Pros: Great place to stay and very close to the Metro and lots of good local places to east i would return here on any future trips to Barcelona in the future

Pros: A convenient hostel for our morning flight. Our flight departed at 6:00 AM, so we chose this hostel because it was close to the airport. The bus stop is a 3-minute walk away, and buses to the airport run regularly throughout the night. The airport is a 15-minute drive away. The hostel was very easy to find. The staff was attentive and friendly. The room was very clean and spacious. The shower was in the hallway, so we had no problems. The shower was very clean. The room was warm and there was a kettle. Many thanks to the staff.

Great hostal for short stay

Pros: Superb location with frequent public buses to the airport. Very friendly front desk staff. Room and shared bathroom are very clean and tidy.

Cons: Elevator to first floor is disabled after the front desk staff left. It is not convenient for travellers with heavy luggages and have flight to catch early morning.

Pros: Close to the airport. The bus stop is very close with a direct airport connection. Good for one night stay if you have an early morning flight. Good terrace.

Cons: Tiny space. No strictness or rules instructing guests to not make noise after a certain hour. The room is not good for claustrophobics. Barely any ventilation.

Good economy hostel

Pros: Clean room, bed and towels. Good location. To the city center 45 min by metro (to the metro station 5 min walk), to the airport 15 min by bus (stop 2 min walk). Also nearby there are grocery stores, cafes. The staff is friendly, good price for this accommodation option (you have your own room, although it is small) and the toilet and shower in the corridor, which were always clean and well-maintained. A great option for 1-2 nights to stay here.

Cons: The soundproofing is not sufficient, some neighbors behaved noisily (talked on the phone through a headset), which is disrespectful to others. Although I did not cross paths with the guests at all, they could be heard quite loudly sometimes.

Pros: Perfect for an early flight. Much better than sleeping at the airport or spending over 100 euros on a taxi.

Pros: It was really clean and cheap. The stuff was really nice.

Cons: It is a bit away from city center, but it is perfect location for the airport.
