Hostal Restaurante Cornella

Pros: Everything about the hostel was as expected, our host was very helpful in every way, would stay there again

Pros: Comfortable, nice staff however the elevator the elevator didn't work. We are in our 70's and had to carry luggage up 4 flights of stairs!!!! Both of us have knee problems

Good place for a nice stay or a weekend scape

Pros: The owner is super nice it receives you very friendly and explains how to open door and enter the building… very nice! The room is not too big but has space enough for a short stay and it is clean. The location also good as its close to metro and bars …

Cons: Because the weekend the lift cannot work there was people bringing their luggage upstairs and did lot of noise but is a small inconvenience. As is something puntual

Lovely hosts

Pros: Excellent host, very nice and helpful! Close to the tram, stop, close to the train station and even has a nice bakery just across the road. It is very clean and comfortable. Muchas gracias!

Pros: Everything okay with the stay at the Cornella Hotel.

Pros: Clean room and clean beds in a quite area. 5 min walk from a metro station. Shower water pressure was good and towels are provided daily. Room is cleaned/done daily as well. We had late check in due to night flight and arranged with host to check in late via watsapp and we were highly satisfied. 😊

Cons: A bit of smell comming from bath drain. Could improve by maybe adding a small table / unit in shower room to place things etc. Otherwise everything was fine

A Pleasant Little Place

Pros: Spotlessly clean! Comfortable beds and no complaints about the bathroom. The blinds and windows will isolate you well from the outside (both sound and light). We haven't used the TV much and the AC at all (the weather was pleasant), but they are there. The value for money is good relative to what you normally find in Barcelona. Also, nice staff, easy to communicate with. They arranged a late check-in for us because we had an evening flight. The place is located in a nice residential area. A bit away from the sights, but very well connected (bus stop meters away from the entrance, tram just up the street and the metro a 10 minute walk away). A very nice bakery is right across the street, where a full breakfast for two comes at the price of one piece of pastry downtown.

Cons: If you're a light sleeper, you may wish for better soundproofing. It's good towards the street (as mentioned above), and generally it is a peaceful place, but we did hear the water running in our immediate neighbor's bathroom as if they were in our own and one evening a lady next door talked on the phone for an hour and I swear you could clearly hear every word. And if a *redacted* drags their suitcase down the stairs, you're sure to hear that! (I hope their wheels came off!) The better half solved it with a pair of earplugs, though. Other than that, there is little to complain about. A mini-fridge would have been nice. There is no elevator, but we didn't find the stairs too steep or too narrow, (even for bringing the surfaces up or down, we were on the second floor and it was perfectly fine for us, but YMMV).

Pros: We arrived at the accommodation late and left early due to our flight, but such excellent communication with the host is very rare. It was all professional. Thank you very much!

Excelente ubicación para salir a recorrer barcelona

Pros: La ubicación me pareció perfecta. Está al frente de una parada de autobús y muy cercana a la estación de metro. Si buscas recorrer Barcelona me parece adecuada, pensando en que estarás gran parte del día fuera del hostal.

Cons: Durante la noche escuchamos unos ruidos que venían de la escalera. Sonaba como si una puerta se golpeara por el viento. (no alcanzó a ser un ruido que perturbara nuestro dormir)
