Gothic - Ramblas Apartments

Charming, great location, good value

Pros: Airy, clean, charming, bedrooms were fine. We loved the elevator opening into our unit. Host/greeter was articulate, came to meet us on time. He was pleasant. The tiny balcony was charming. The location was great 5 minutes from Drasanes metro stop. Lots of little grocery stores and cafes and restaurants. 6 days 6 nights, comfortable and quiet. Would return.

Pros: We were staying during an off peak time ( December) and there wasn’t anyone in the apartment immediately affer us , so the host allowed us to check out late so we could wander around without our bags the last day.

Pros: The location was amazing, absolutely loved our stay . Youngest was 9yrs old so couldn't stay out too late, ideal having separate rooms. Felt safe and wasn't noisy (once we got use to the lift noise). Alex was very helpful and even ordered our taxi to the airport for us, the taxi driver spoke good English.

Cons: We didn't have any issues, we would stay there again.

Pros: Location was perfect, surprisingly quiet at night. Restaurants steps away, 10 min walk to La Ramblas to catch a taxi to train station (airport taxi drove us close to the apartment but other taxis/ Uber would not). Beds comfortable. Plain, simple decor. Great value, would stay again. We also liked the in person check in.

Great stay in a great neighbourhood

Pros: The location was perfect. Apartment was as pictured.

Great location and well-priced.

Pros: It was in a great location in the old part of Barcelona. Efficient service by the host who also located an ice cube tray for us. The apartment we had all the facilities we needed.

Cons: During our stay the lift was under repair - lucky our bags weren’t too heavy or large to carry up the four flights of stairs. The shower base was a bit slippery - just needed to be a bit careful.

Excellent location, for a wonderful stay in Barcelona.

Pros: The location is great for being in the centre of Barcelona. Alex was very helpful and easy to contact, if necessary. Only dislikes was that it is quite noisy, due to its central location. Just something to bear in mind.

Pros: Great location, it was close to everything and we didn't use much transport, we could walk to local restaurant and visit a lot of the atractions by foot.

Highly recommended!

Pros: The location is superb! The place is safe and the owner has been nothing but superhelpful. He even helped us to book the taxi. I was there with 3 kids, youngest being 7 yrs old. We felt safe even when we had to go as early as 4-5am for 2 days (to catch train & plane). The place is near halal restaurants and main attraction.Would definitely stay here again!

An excellent location for a short or longer stay!

Pros: The location was fantastic - central for all of the essentials while visiting Barcelona. Two minutes from Las Ramblas and the harbour area, Barceloneta another 10 minutes walk. For the purposes of our visit, it was perfect, all we could have wanted!
