Bonavista Apartments - Eixample

Pros: The unit is well equipped with cookware, cutlery and crockery. Also has the washing machine and clothes dryer in good working order. Dishwasher tablets and washing machine detergent was also supplied. The locker facility in the building is very useful. Instructions to the building and facility all well set out. Response time from the host was very prompt.

Cons: The bathroom is a little small.

Pros: Apartments were fab. So clean. Beds comfy. Everything you need. The Elemis soaps shampoo and shower gel were unexpected but we were delighted with everything. Our trip was to visit the Christmas markets and they didn't disappoint. Barcelona is a very beautiful city and we loved every minute of our stay. The apartment check in procedures are straight forward and there are lockers available for people arriving before check in and for after checkout if you have a late flight. There is a taxi rank straight across the road. Lovely little cafes on the street. It's definately a 15 min walk to the centre, but so many nice shops and cafes on route.

Pros: Cosy apartment with a lot of nice restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed walking to and from the city centre.

Cons: We could not understand how to get the ceiling fan to work in the second bedroom. The wi-fi was also relatively slow.

Pros: Very good communication with the hosts. It was easy to find the place, easy to get into. Our flight was in the morning, and there are lockers in the building to leave your luggage until the room is cleaned - which was very convenient. The rooms were very clean, and nicely furnished. There was a package waiting for us with all the cleaning utensils - sponge, liquid detergent, dishwasher tabs, and spare trash bags. Also the kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups and other utensils. Two hub stove, dishwasher, good sized fridge, a microwave and even a nespresso machine. The only thing missing were scissors.

Cons: It would be nice if there was also a small pack with a few cooking essentials - salt, pepper, sugar, a bit of oil, and maybe a few capsules for the first \

Very nice apartment for discovering Barcelona

Pros: Very nice apartment in a great location, surrounded by many restaurants and bars. Easy to get a bus or metro from there but also a nice area to just walk around. Easy communication and great instructions for the check in/out. Apartment was on the third floor with steep stairs but there was an elevator. The apartment was facing the courtyard and we were amazed by the quietness. The apartment has 3 airconditioning units and fans so the temperature was always great. At the end we were able to check out a bit later than 11 am which was great.

Cons: The bed in the second bedroom was not comfortable. Could need a fan in the bathroom as there were signs of mold.

A nice, clean, well located flat for three

Pros: A well situated flat in a nice neighborhood in Barcelona, close to a lot of good restaurants and community areas. The space was clean and comfortable, albeit a little small. The check in process was easy once we were actually in the city. There is a lift for easy access. The beds were comfortable, and shampoo/soap and conditioner is provided. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked nice and was stocked. The hosts were responsive as well.

Cons: There was not a ton of natural light as the flat faces a large wall. While conditioner was provided, it had been severely watered down so I had to use my own. Also, there were only two very small toilet paper rolls, which ran out on our last night, so we had to use our own tissue packs we brought with us. The payment is handled outside of Booking.com and there is a form guests must fill out with passport and personal details, which I was wary of at first, but apparently it's a normal requirement in Barcelona. The hosts were pretty quick to respond to my questions and assist so all turned out fine.

Comfortable stay if you are in Barcelona. Sagrada is like 20 mins walking distance.

Pros: The location, the host, the space, everything was comfortable. Lots of restaurants & bar nearby. Sagrada was 20 mins walkin distance. The host was kind enough to even let us check out a little later which was appreciated.
