Smartr Barcelona Ramblas

Pros: Staff was perfect, location was great, apartmant was huge, spacious, clean. We arrived early but we were able to leave our luggage and they let us know when the accommodation was ready for a bit earlier check-in. Everyone was kind and friendly. Overall amazing experience and glorious recommendations.

Lovely touch leaving us a gift, great location, great value for money

Pros: Very handy for being in the centre of La Ramblas. Flat itself had lots of character.

Cons: We had no hot water for showers in morning. No information to work them.

Pros: Check-in at the hostel was smooth, and the staff was very helpful, followed up by a whatsapp to check with us of any problems. Room codes got mixed up, but this was very quickly sorted. Unbelievable location for the price! Perfect for my hen party group of 17 people, requested 2 rooms on 1 floor which they accommodated. Both apartments had lots of space and facilities, TV, hairdryer, kettle. Room 42 had 2 showers/bathrooms, which was ideal for a large group. Juilet balconys overlooking the ramblas. Yes, it can be noisy at times (morning in particular) because it's on the main street, so we expected this. It definitely didn't spoil our trip! Just bring some ear plugs. Yes, the apartments are a little dated, but they were clean and very comfortable! Perfect for groups! Would definitely recommend and return!

Cons: Although 2 fans provided it, it would have been perfect with aiir conditioning in room 42. Shower heads didn't stay in the holder on the wall, so we had to hold them while showering, but this is a minor issue, if we had a longer stay would of reported it but it didn't bother us.

The staff at check in were so lovely and helpful, the apartment was perfect for what we needed it to be!

Pros: The properly was so central. The check in was super easy and the staff at check in were so helpful. We were even left a bottle of wine and some sweets in the apartment!

Cons: The showers were quite run down and needed some TLC.

Enough good quality for its cheap price

Pros: It was better than we expected, good location and clean Not luxury but good enough for sleeping in the city center for sightseeing Staff was friendly

Cons: 4th floor without elevator

Enjoyable stay, would recommend for groups. Good value for money.

Pros: Central location which was ideal to get to the beach and metro to explore the city. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed, simple but had everything and good value for money.

Cons: The only negative is we were on the top floor and there’s no lift, around 6 flights of stairs which is hard work in 30 degree heat. Air con could have been better as was very weak in the main dining area. No air con in the single bedroom.

Pros: Very central. Balconies overlooking Las Ramblas. Wonderful!!

The studio is not bad, even spacious, there is a large terrace and a view of the rooftops and the Rambla. I do not recom

Pros: The location is great, the views are beautiful. There is air conditioning. Staff was good

Cons: The apartment is located on the last 6th floor, there is no elevator, we were with a lot of things, we had heavy suitcases, it was difficult to lift them up and down. Need blankets, there weren't any there

Pros: We had a big group and we all fit nicely and had a good time there. Good location, comfy beds, a lot of space.

Cons: It is not easy to climb the stairs to the high floor with big suitcases, there is no elevator in this building

Pros: The apartment was in an excellent location, on La Ramblas directly opposite Placa Reial. There were plenty of windows to open and look out onto the main street which we loved, although some might find it noisy. Especially on a Saturday night! The apartment had enough space and was equipped with pretty much everything we needed for our stay. Communication about our stay and checking in was brilliant. On our last day, we went to the hostel to leave our bags securely and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Thank you!

Cons: The stairs! Our apartment was on the 5th floor and with no lift, it was a lot of stairs to go up and down. We were also missing a few towels and pillows as we had 7 guests, but we never asked for anymore. I'm sure, had we asked, this would have been resolved. We just made do. We also could not get the air conditioning to work. The unit looked quite old, but again we did not question this. Maybe there would have been a way of switching it on if we had asked. Luckily, we didn't really need it.
