Atenea Living

Pros: Good place for staying. Had a large choice for breakfast. Good stuff. A little bit far from the main beach, but it wasn't a problem. Recommend for staying here at your travel, if you want to comfort+low price at your rest.

Overall, everything was excellent and we liked everything.

Pros: The sea view was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfasts were good, though a bit repetitive.

Cons: However, the shower was inconvenient — water kept leaking into the bathroom, so we had to wipe the floor after every shower.

Good for short stays

Pros: The bedroom I had on the fifth floor was extremely spacious despite there being a double bed in the room, a desk/table and a double wardrobe and small kitchenette with fitted fridge. The bathroom was a decent size too and there was a broom and mop and bucket. All the furniture and bathroom fittings were in a good clean state. The view of the seafront is sideways but I could see Mataro town centre and some parts of the Port/Marina. The different staff members working in the mornings and late evenings were all friendly. The breakfast room on the ground floor facing the seafront was also spacious and very bright and there was a fair amount of food items, in particular bread/pastries and cut pieces of tropical fruit, to choose from.

Cons: The accommodation is quite a walk from the railway station and the main beaches (15-20 minutes) and even further away from the centre of Mataro town. I didn't see a local bus service passing through this new neighbourhood by the seafront. I was disappointed with the cereal offer at breakfast (plain porridge oats, cornflakes and coco pops/pillows). There were no dried fruits and nuts to put into the oats so I decided to buy some from a local supermarket. I also was disappointed at discovering on the first morning that the pots of yoghurt were left in a bread bin style box at room temperature - leaving the yoghurt to be warm. The clothes rail inside the wardrobe was fitted extremely high up. I had to go on tip toes to put the hangers onto the hooks on the rail.

It's a great place for a vacation, but the rooms need to be cleaned better.

Pros: A great place to stay with friends. The nearest beach is just a 6-minute walk away. Quality accommodations with all the necessities. Delicious and varied breakfasts.

Cons: All the furniture was covered in dust, as was the floor. There was also sand all over the floor.

Pros: Brand new building and rooms. Perfect view from big windows. Good breakfast, with lactose free and gluten free options.

Cons: Bead is a bit small for 2 persons. Reception tried to sell parking in garage by telling that some strangers are stealing a cars, breaking a windows for cars on the street. It was bit unneeded stress:( All was good with car on street and we asked to locals is it so, and answer was it’s not a true.

Pros: Atenea Living was great! The breakfast was an amazing spread with so much to choose from each morning, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the 24hr front desk was a lifesaver as our flight got in late and we checked our early in the morning. The rooms were equipped really well, the microwave and the fridge were a great thing to have, and I appreciated the large wardrobe. The general facilities were fabulous as well, the kitchen was tidy and clean and had all we needed to cook. I could really recommend Atenea Living for a short stay. Thank you!

Cons: My only issue is that the walls were a bit thin, so you could hear your room neighbours at times, but it didn't particularly disturb our stay at all.

Pros: New building, nice simple design. Tasty breakfast.

Cons: It could be very very noisy. As our room was separated from the next room just by doors I can hear every word from the next room.

Pros: friendly helpful staff lovely continental breakfast and you could have as much as you wanted we sat outside to eat which we enjoyed the room was very nice and clean with a lovely balcony and sea view, nice and cool with the air conditioning short stroll to the beach, local shops and train station

Cons: nothing of note that would stop me from staying again or recommending

Pros: Great location and good room setup with microwave and fridge. Nice to be given soap and sponge etc.

Cons: The door between our apartment and the one next door wasn't very solid and let through a lot of sound.
