Good hotel for a cheap vacation

Pros: The hotel was very close to the beach, the tram stration and the metro stration. The staff was very nice, we had to change the room because the AC was not working on the warm setting, but they made a room very quikly for us. They changed our towels often and cleaned the room.

Cons: There was a bit of mold in the shower, at the silicone joints.

Ideal if you want a budget option in Barcelona outside the centre

Pros: The room was exactly as presented: clean and with basic facilities. Bathroom and shower were good. The staff were pleasant (it helped that I speak Spanish). There is a very reasonably priced cafeteria on the ground floor which serves good food on weekdays. I had a lovely view from my 7th floor room over Barcelona with the mountains in the background. If you are prepared for something fairly basic the price was less than half that of the cheapest hotels, and the location was ideal for me, attending a conference just 20 minutes' walk away. The metro is only 7 minutes' walk away, and that gives you access to all Barcelona at a very reasonable price.

Cons: The directions were not great, and it was difficult to find the entrance, especially for anybody coming in the dark. Check-in was a bit chaotic. The bed was hard. One of the two lifts was out of action all week. A bulb which broke had still not been replaced 24 hours after I reported it. One day there was a breakdown in the hot water system, so it was a cold shower that day.

It was a decent stay. Not much problems. I would recommend it for others.

Pros: Location was good. Accessibility to all modes of travel. Some of the staff are very good and helpful. Finally there was some confusion about the billing but it was resolved. Language was the main problem.

Cons: Cafeteria was closed. Had to go out everytime. Cleaning is done only once a week. The accompanying open space was closed for few days. Otherwise nothing much.

Pros: Good AC and quite convenient location, also amazing next door cafe!

Cons: Well among all the positives, the bathroom wasn't matching with cleanliness. It was poorly maintained full of black mould although hot water was there - one of the shower heads didn't work....

Simple, value for money, easy access to everywhere

Pros: Large single room, perfect AC, quite, full kitchen and private bathroom. Area pretty decent if a bit far from central attractions, yet close to the beach and vibe-y poblenou area. Wouldn’t take ‘dangerous neighbourhood’ comments in some other reviews. Clearly they haven’t travelled much.

Cons: All good 👌🏼

We stay 3 nights and was super! I suggest to arrive at day, so you can move easy in metro or in bus!

Pros: Comfortable, easy to get to the city center, the A/C top, the kitchen and beds, the gym is super nice

Cons: No soap to wash the dishes, and only 1 pillow per person

Apartment for three with a kitchen.

Pros: +Spacious apartment and rooms +Good soundproofing +Friendly staff, always helpful +Modern renovation +Shower and bed were clean +There is a dining room

Cons: -The windows were very dirty (photo 3). -There was a lot of dust. It looked like they had cleaned it two-three weeks ago. There was someone's hair in the bathroom (photo 4). -The staff didn't tell us about the dining room. -The room is not cleaned during your stay. -There are only three pots and two frying pans and also cutlery in the room. If you want to cook yourself, you have to buy EVERYTHING. and salt and pepper and oil, etc.

Pros: Well equipped and clean. I felt safe and enjoyed the facility.

Cons: Mattress was very hard, and a single pillow was also not the best. The location was good for my purpose but is a bit rough....
