Hotel Montserrat

Don't underestimate it based on the photos

Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful. Every single one of them! I loved that the bedroom came with a fridge (good for storing water, drinks etc.) but also a microwave. While I didn't need it, it was good to have the option. It also had a wee Nespresso machine which was a nice touch. The location is excellent. You are right in the centre, while still being away from the noise. The roof terrace was lovely at breakfast time. It's spotlessly clean

Cons: The rooms could do with a wee facelift- a small thing in the overall picture. The noise carries all over the building. I was on the second floor and if someone dropped a spoon upstairs, it would echo down. Similarly, you could hear the cleaning staff chatting, and it would echo down the corridor. It was very annoying when you want to have a bit of a lie in and not be disturbed but nature of the building. It's just felt like any noise like that was loud

Stayed there before so it was what we expected.

Pros: Breakfast was ok but really missed a fully cooked breakfast .

Really enjoyable, quiet (October), great location , good breakfast.

Pros: Traditional ‘family-run’ hotel, pleasant staff, no hassle.

Cons: Nothing.

Old world style!

Pros: Like hotels used to be meaning it's a bit old fashioned and obviously been around a while but nothing wrong with that! Bed was comfortable room was clean and everything worked including the coffee maker and microwave in the room. Balcony to sit out on above the street and drink my coffee.

Cons: Cooked eggs as part of the breakfast choices would have been nice but it was still a decent quality continental breakfast buffet. I didn't get to try the coffee from the machine in the end -because the hot chocolate was so nice!

Pros: Great central location, decent breakfast included, staff available 24hr. Rooftop patio was nice too

Cons: The double bed was two singles pushed together with a mattress topper covering both. Every so often beds would slip apart leaving a crevice/trench between. Minimal annoyance but still not ideal. Perhaps some clips or ties to hold them together would work?

Well located adequate budget hotel

Pros: Montserrat is an adequate 2* budget hotel in a very good location. Staff were most helpful. Everything is a little dated, standard for this type of hotel.

Cons: Breakfast was quite bland. Cold cuts meats were poor. No hot choices. Little variety.

Amazing experience my stay people are so friendly

Pros: I'm lactose and gluten intolerance they had the options for me which i was so pleased about that as its difficult to find. Sitges has more options for me than the uk. I previously lived in sitges for 23 years so i will be back. Thanks for your consideration Beverley

Cons: They didn't have lactose free butter and i didn't see raspberry jam

A nice hotel in Sitges old town close to the sea.

Pros: The hotel is not the newest or most fashionable. But the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned daily and the rooms I have stayed in have good working a.c. If you plan to visit Sitges Hotel Montserrat is definitely a good budget friendly option.

Great location with lovely staff

Pros: Location was excellent. Staff were extremely accommodating. Luggage was looked after on last day and were able to shower when we came back before catching flight.

Cons: Slightly dated but all we needed.

Overall for that money i highly recommend and will definately come back again.

Pros: Its super central. My room was very clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was nice. Air con was great. U have blinders so also good for light sensitive people. There is not much noise coming from that side of the street. Location is superb - close to the beach but aslo bars and restaurants. We even managed to check in earlier in our rooms and they stored our luggage due to the late flight and even managed to shower and fresh up in the guest bathroom. People in the hotel were super kind as well. Bfast was okay - even though could be a bit diverse or have eggs added.

Cons: The nouse from the halleays when somebody slams the door from other room you hear it. Could be also a bit more diverse bfast.
