Hotel Palou 1874

Loved it.

Pros: It was very clean, the staff were fabulous, the location was perfect for us ( daughter lived a short walk away) and value for money was outstanding.

Cons: It would have been good to have tea and coffee facilities available in the room.

Pros: Comfortable, quiet, welcoming, beautiful old building

This was just a two night stay, and it was a lovely small hotel which was in a great position.

Pros: It was very homely and very easy to find. The rooms were comfortable and squeaky clean and the lady on reception was lovely and very helpful. You couldn’t have asked for more.

Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in the room. Just personal preference … we had to go down to the dining room which didnt suit me.

Outstanding

Pros: Outstanding experience. The hotel it’s beautiful and super comfortable with big spacious bedroom and sparkling clean. The breakfast was delicious and the stuff was super friendly - thoughtful in those details that make a difference si ce the d Very first minute at my arrival. I would highly recommended this hotel.

Cons: Everything - The well kept details of the modernism architecture of building with its stunning hydraulic flooring. I liked the lighting and the coziness of the spaces. The location, the stuff, the breakfast, the cleanliness, the check-IN, the bath, the room…

Definitely recommend for this area

Pros: Staff were very helpful. The hotel itself and room was fantastic. We used the hotel parking just down the road.

Cons: It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room to have a cold drink as there is no bar at the hotel and very limited choice in the ‘honesty’ fridge downstairs.

Pros: Really nice design of the place and good space in the room, nice common area downstairs.

Cons: Bath tube in the room was dirty

Pros: Very nice and spacious room, a little old school in accordance with the theme of the house . The breakfast is very good with choice of meat, cheese, fruit , bread, orange juice and hot beverages to your liking.

Cons: Sadly no mini fridge in the room and the communal fridge near the lobby is very small. There is a coffee machine/ capsules but no milk available. The restaurant is closed terminally. In my opinion I would call it a B&B and not a hotel

Place to relax

Pros: We are here the second time and really like the hotel. Its the place were you can forget about daily routine and just to relax. Private hotel for 10 rooms only, beautiful garden and pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Photos cannot convey the coziness and tranquility of this place. Rooms are big and bright Big bathroom. We had a big balcony with the pool view were was nice to finish the day wit a glass of wine.Private parking is large and safe. Good restaurants near and 7 minutes by car to the bays of Sitges

Lovely place for quite relaxation

Pros: Super-professional staff, a great and pleasant atmosphere, and a chill pool area - a place to return to.

Cons: This is not a disadvantage of the hotel, but it may be helpful to note that reaching the beach without a car or taxi can be a bit less convenient.

Show stopper. You can’t go wrong

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous. Small. Beautiful. Lovely staff. Away from the madness of the coast. Great pool. The honesty bar is so cheap it’s not worth going to the supermarket!

Cons: There isn’t a restaurant and the breakfast is extremely basic. However, there are some amazing restaurants not too far away.
