Hotel Somlom - ECO Friendly Montseny

If you are looking for a place to relax away from Barcelona, this is your place!

Pros: The room was great for a short weekend break. We loved all the little touches that were left for us like the gluten free and lactose free breakfast options. Thank you for accommodating us! It's hard to find places that go the extra mile for dietary accommodations and don't shame us for having them.

Cons: The mattress topper is a little soft (We're used to a slightly firmer mattress) but comfortable nonetheless. The pillows could also be a little firmer but overall the room is excellent.

Perfect little quiet getaway spot close to Montseny

Pros: Had a wonderful stay here. The wooden 'cabin' rooms are beautiful, big, comfy bed, green views, great shower and kitchenette. The breakfast comes each morning in a little basket which was great and fresh. The neighbourhood is residential with a 5min walk to the main area of restaurants and bars and it's at the start of the montseny mountains so great access to hiking trails. I didn't use the spa or classes but they look great and fairly priced.

Cons: All good.

Attentive staff, responsive comms, clean and comfortable

Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms. Setup to cater to nature lovers of the nearby national park (I assume) - so what else than a bed, a bathroom and a mini kitchen would you need. Loved it.

Cons: Staff tried several times to pitch massages for the in-house studio. Was a bit strange.

A peaceful place to stay

Pros: A small and pleasant hotel, ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I stayed there after a meditation retreat and mainly needed peace and quiet, which the hotel provided perfectly. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the breakfast was tasty. There’s a park and good restaurants nearby. I think I’ll come back again. I fell in love with Santa Maria de Palautordera :)

Cons: The shower cabin was a bit small for me (I’m almost 190 cm tall), but the staff told me that next time they can provide a special room with a larger shower upon request.

Highly recommended for a long stay as well as a short stay

Pros: Highly recommended for short and long stays! Possibility of independent check-in and the staff is available on Whatsapp, the room was large and well-equipped, a comfortable and luxurious bed, since we are vegan and gluten-free, the staff found different options for us and were kind and very helpful. We will definitely come back here again!

Cons: Air conditioning did not always work, but the staff tried very hard to help. Regarding a trip to the Montessini Park, it is recommended to arrive with a car and enough food, since getting around by taxi is inconvenient, and most of the restaurants in the park are closed during the week

Overall, this was a very comfortable and well-designed space.

Pros: This was a well designed and compact studio, in which we were very comfortable. The log-cabin construction with all the wood being used gave a very fresh and clean feeling. We enjoyed staying here.

Cons: The bed was a bit soft.

Pros: The instructions provided by the hotel representative were very good. The room was clean, and the breakfast selection was appropriate.
