Pros: Everything was great, excellent location and great cost benefits. There ere restaurants nearby open till 03:00 AM, which was very hand with our check in after midnight.
Cons: Only point to note was a strong bleach like smell inside the room upon entering, maybe would be good idea for the hotel to leave the windows open for a while when cleaning with this sort of chemicals. I remember feeling a little bit nauseous and like my eyes were burning.

Very good value, older but clean and friendly!
Pros: Very friendly staff, great location, very good value. Rooms are clearly a bit older but are kept clean. Short walk to gothic quarter with lots of bars and restaurants even closer. Very easy to drive to considering it's proximity to the city center.
Cons: Parking would be tricky with a car, but there is on street parking for motorcycles on the corner of the building with no time restrictions. Hotel is a little tricky to find as not well signed from the outside, and it's a bit of a pain if you have a lot of luggage as it's upstairs woth a very small old fashioned lift.

Pros: Wonderful, friendly staff on every shift. Made us feel like home. A very clean and cozy, yet small, room in an old apartment house in the old town of Barcelona. We loved the ancient elevator that rooms two at best. Very good breakfast served at Hotel Anna Marta a few doors down the street. The Lyon is worth every cent.
Cons: Everything is hunky dory from the hotel side, but the city could and should do something about the sewer smell right in front of the entrance. But hey, something like that is part of the big city experience 🙂

Nice stay. 100% recommended
Pros: I was absolutely delighted with my stay! Despite being a simple hotel, it had everything I needed for my trip to Barcelona. The cleanliness was impeccable, the location was excellent, and the bed linens and towels were fresh and good -quality. The shower was great, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more — everything exceeded my expectations!

Great for the price
Pros: We really appreciated the cleaning crew that kept our room clean during our stay. The location is great, the métro is barely 5min away walking, and the line is very convenient. You can also access the beach, walkable distance. The AC makes our stay way more comfortable, as it was a very hot week.
Cons: Because the location is very central, and the isolation is the room does not seems very good, we could hear a lot of the outside sounds. Anyone looking for a quieter stay may want to look for a different location. Would have been nice to also have an extra towel for face/hair on top of the big one given.

Great location, quiet place.
Pros: Location is great, there is a metro station nearby - easy commute from and to the airport. It was quiet so a good sleep guaranteed. We checked-in in the middle of the night, around 1:30 with no problem, the receptionist was there and was very helpful.
Cons: Mattress is a bit hard, but it's a matter of preference.
