Hotel Abat Cisneros Montserrat

Pros: The location and view were perfect! My room was quite cozy and comfortable

A hotel with spectacular view in a spectacular place

Pros: Lovely historical building, with spacious rooms and updated bathrooms and a most spectacular view of the mountains and the basilica. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: Stay in the old Abby meant you could enjoy the views and the basilica without the crowds. And the residents pass meant you could visit as many times as you wanted without charge! Very close to the museum which has an amazing art collection.

You pay for staying close to Monastery and possibility to enjoy the environment.

Pros: All you need to sleep and stay over a night. We took also dinner that was reasonable and good.

Cons: Staff could be more helpful.

Stunning!

Pros: I loved the location, and the staff was good. We had such a fantastic view from our room. So much history in one place. The dinner was good and breakfast too. I loved my stay and will be back.

Great location

Pros: Wonderful location. We had a room over looking the basilica. The room was a good size with comfortable beds. No fridge but a jug with tea, coffee and longlife milk. Bathroom was clean. The wifi worked well in the room. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant.

Cons: A little bit expensive, but the location was excellent.

A restorative two days immersed in the spirit of a legacy built by community of faith.

Pros: Our room was spacious and comfortable, overlooking the courtyard, mountains and valley below. There was a wide variety of breakfast options and our two evening meals in the restaurant were well presented and tasty. We enjoyed the sounds of church bells signalling prayer times throughout the day and the ease of exploring all attractions via walking or funicular access, The museum/art gallery held an excellent selectiob of works.

Cons: Nothing - we came for the atmosphere and history of Monseratt and felt there was an excellent balance of tourist opportunities and space for those of us seeking meditative times of reflection and immersion in the natural world. While tourism enables the hospitality of this community, it is not allowed to overly intrude on the core roots and purpose or the community.

Breathtaking views, cannot be beat!

Pros: Absolutely STUNNING location. We had a direct view of the monastery from our room window, and it was breathtaking! Absolutely worth it!

Pros: The views from our room were fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the restaurant as well since it used to be a wine celllar

Quite special to be able to experience Montserrat at sunset!
