Cons: the room had a window, but to a courtyard with almost no daylight... ok if you are just sleeping (and very quiet), but may be a problem if you want to spend some time in the room during the day

Excellent stay

Pros: Location of the property was excellent - located about 500 meters from the center point Place de Catulanya. The hotel has a vintage feel. All the tourist places are either in walking distance from the hotel or one or 2 bus/tram stoppages away. I travelled solo so I deliberately chose a small room and I am happy with the choice. The breakfast spread was really excellent and there were many varieties of items like cheese ham fruit etc. Staff were very helpful and polite especially the lady who remains in the evening shift was very friendly (I am sorry I don't know her name or I would have mentioned that as well. They also booked a taxi for me as I has a red eye flight.

Cons: The facilities could have been better. My key card was not working every time I tried to open the door and every time I had to go and recharge it again at the reception before entering. That was the only drawback I found.
