Grand Hotel Central

First-class hotel in a brilliant location.

Pros: This is a first class hotel in a really convenient and interesting part of Barcelona. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and nothing seems too much trouble. The rooms are very well-appointed - a real pleasure to have stayed here.

Cons: I think the lovely rooftop bar and pool would be better without canned music - there's a magic to hearing the seagulls and the distant noise of the city...

Pros: Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff. Great location.

Cons: Only thing was bed was a tiny bit too firm for my personal liking but it was a good quality bed and lovely soft bedding.

A great hotel in a central location with a warm welcome and great facilities.

Pros: The location was great, really easy to walk to most places and felt safe. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The facilities were great and the food and drinks really good. There was plenty of bottled water in the room which was replenished often. The rooms were very clean. The roof top bar with pool and sauna were nice and the hotel restaurant was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were super helpful.

Cons: The rooms are very small and compact, ok for 1 or 2 nights or for 1 person but any more than 2 nights and 2 people you really need a bigger room. Not great if you want room service as the room only has enough space for a small table and 1 chair. The room was also quite noisy with the city traffic sounds, which can’t really be helped. The pillows were foam and not very comfortable.

Pros: Great hotel , excellent location . Fabulous views from the roof top bar . Lovely on site restaurant. Very comfortable rooms . Brilliantly situated to explore the city. Excellent staff . Spotlessly clean .

Cons: Restaurant gets very busy , need to book in advance . Also quite expensive.

Comfortable nice well located hotel

Pros: First time in Barcelona lovely hotel we had lunch in rooftop restaurant some nice wraps with chips. There was an infinity pool on the roof which we did not use but looked lovely.The view was great.The hotel had a spa but on a one night stay did not use this.which was great Had a lovely room with nice bath and very comfortable bed.The in room refreshment tray was very good and mini bar .Hotel was great for access to Barcelona.Had some room service a nice fruit salad can’t remember what my husband had.

Pros: Great view from the room of the city. In the go this quarter, very welcoming staff.

Cons: Rooms a bit snug but well thought out.

Pros: Location was exceptional. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs and rooftop bar

Cons: It was expensive when we booked it. Small size of room was little uncomfortable with 2 big suitcases. Massage was very disappointing...
