Fantastic place with the loveliest staff in a unique barcelones neighborhood

Pros: Very lovely people working at Casa Jam and make you feeling part of the family, thank you so much!! Great map with places nearby created by the staff. Generally a quieter and smaller hostel, it's easy to meet other travellers. The kitchen was amazing such as the provided tee and coffee, very clean and taken care of. Super safe hostel where entrance is monitored and Graciad is a very lively and residential area. Supermarkets, eateries just around the corner; I walked most of the time. Cute little patio terrace with some tables to sit. Internet was stable and enough for my video calls. Hooks in the room and bathroom.

Cons: The ladies showers were very clean during the day but at night time could get a bit dirty depending on who was in before. So maybe a quick check in the evening keeps it 24/7 impeccable. The mattress was a bit too soft and I sank in. Some curtains would be a nice addition. The people in my room went to a tapas bar and the garlic smell got stuck in the room which was disgusting.

If I go back to Barcelona definitely keen to book here again ❤️

Pros: It’s located very conveniently to the metro, literally just a short walk around the corner I think 400m away. Rooms were comfortable. We got a private bathroom which was a fantastic option in my opinion. Friendly staff, which mentioned this is a family owned business which would be the reason why the staff are very attentive to you :) Great communal kitchen too.

Cons: None come to mind!
