The Central House Barcelona Gracia

Very friendly staff, safe location, clean and comfortable beds

Pros: The breakfast was good, I just didn‘t like the bread. The location was exellent. I travelled with my 15year old son, and we could navigate ourselves well from this location and felt very safe. I like the activities that the hostel offered, and partook in the drawing evening. During this activity I got to know some young people from all over!! Very good meeting spot.

Cons: I didnt like the bread. Maybe they could offer better bread and less cake. The room could be better airated between visitors, if possible, but was otherwise fully to ourwe satisfaction

Everything was fine

Pros: Very good location, close to the metro, nice people and staff. Room is clean. Large recreation area.

Cons: The kitchen is a bit small for cooking, but the hostel offer breakfest.

It was better before

Pros: I came back to this hostel after two years, because I knew it was comfy, spacious, easily reachable, in great area, overall great location! I spent only one night so it was okay. But in general it has realy nice terace and common area where ypu can eat, chill etc. It asks for check in online, but anyway you come to reception upon arrival. Always kind people.

Cons: But comparing to experience from two years, it is now in poor condition, it needs maitenance I would say, in the room you cannot open window, in the comunity area doors to the garden are broken etc. Some sinks are not working, there is no soap etc. Which I would espect. There is not light near beds, only one main light which it makes difficult for shared rooms! Also, you need to pay for keeping the luggage in storage boxes, but at the end it was more convenient than to moving it to some city place. And do not forget to bring locker key for lockers in the room.

Great

Pros: The location was excellent, close to the metro station and to famous places. The place is very cozy and staff were always open to help and answer any questions we had.

Cons: The lower bed in bunk beds were a bit too low.

It made my Barcelona experience complete

Pros: It gives us leeway to still use some facilities after checkout. It allowed me to leave the luggage at the hostel conveniently while attending new year’s eve party

Cons: I hope the window closes so the warmth can be retained mkre

A great place to stay.

Pros: It is located near Pedrera and there are many amenities near(supermarket, cafeteria, restaurants, shops). The place is cozy and quiet. It is like you are in your house.

Pros: Comfy beds and warm quilts; wonderful old building; great terrace; showers n toilets all good and plenty hot water; manageable kitchen. Would have been better to have another fridge available, but we all managed with good humour and care. Wonderful location just off the Passeig de Gracia. Everything walkable, and such a great way to explore Barcelona. Staff helpful and friendly, and a big Thankyou to all the cleaning staff for all their hard work and kindness! Met some good peeps there, and felt at home. Highly recommend this hostal. Thankyou all! 😊

Pros: Great location perfect breakfast end super friendly stuff highly recommended !

Pros: The staffs were very kind. The best thing was the activities at night where you can meet new friends. The shower room was also very comfortable to use as I could always find a room available.

Cons: The door in the living room is a little broken. So I sometimes felt cold. But it was a minor problem.
