Fabulous homely stay!

Pros: This property was so beautiful. Ingrid and her family were so accommodating and made you feel right at home. We never wanted to leave, and already planning on booking the next! Highly recommend!

Cons: The ONLY thing, (which has got nothing to do with the property) but more the location, is that if you are prone to getting bitten by mozzys, BRING BUG SPRAY. Luckily Ingrid did have some, but if you are as tasty as me - you will be itching your way through the holiday!

Pros: Only 10 stars for this great place! The owners are really nice people! Everything was amaizing.

Welcoming and beautiful place that is well worth visiting

Pros: A surprising place, fruit of a beautiful family story. Ideal for spending a few quiet days, both close to and far from everything. High quality construction, very tasteful design and decoration. Going to the Caribbean Home to see Barcelona is nice, but going to Barcelona to see the Caribbean Home is better

Cons: I didn't know it before.... ;=)

Pros: This wonderful place has been handcrafted by a beautiful family over many years to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Love for their guests comes through from the family and the facilities. The family were constantly working to make our stay exceptional. From welcoming us at our very late check-in around midnight to great suggestions of things to go and see to constantly cleaning their beautiful home and pool, we had a lovely time and made new friends.

Obsessed

Pros: Absolutely incredible stay, with amazing hosts. We were only there for 2 nights but wished we were spending our entire trip there, cannot rate highly enough. It's a 6 room adults only and wasn't full when we were there but there were so many places to relax, even if every room was full it would've still felt like a secluded little paradise. The pool was perfect, the loungers and chairs comfy, beautiful location away from the center so surrounding town was full of just locals, we were given directions and travel instructions to top places all over Barcelona and there are even massages available. The bar was lovely and decently priced, the room was spectacular with a cute little living area, good air con and super comfy bed, bathroom was spacious with good facilities. Everything was beautiful and clean and you could tell the amount of love the family have poured into the place. We have been telling everyone about it and are planning to return and stay longer.

Cons: The only thing we could think of to improve the stay would be a mini fridge in the room to keep our own snacks and drinks cool as they don't serve food, just pastries in the morning (the not serving food is not an issue at all, it was understandable and the coffee was 10/10)

Pros: Ingrid and her family are great hosts! They made us feel really welcome. Other things that we liked: 1) very comfortable bed 2) good train connections with Barcelona 3) good airconditioning in the room 4) great outside area with a large swimming pool and a bar

Pros: A quiet and quaint private hotel, run by a lovely family, Ingrid and her parents. It's very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The train station into Barcelona central is within walking distance, 7 minutes from hotel to be exact. My friend and I had a wonderful stay. We saw Wild Boar passing by the hotel and got to look inside the beautiful church next door thanks to Jame (Ingrids dad) :) I hope to revisit Caribbean home and would definitely recommend staying here.

Cons: I would suggest hiring a car if staying here as there is no refrigerator in the room to store water or snacks, and there is no food on site. Montcada is a large area. Most places are a 30min+ walk away but only 5 minutes by car. However, the station into town and local convenience store isn't as far as everwhere else. Ingrid has a number for a taxi service, too, so you won't get stuck if not driving.

It wasn’t just a stay, it was an experience!

Pros: Coming from France on a two week tour of Spain, this was our very first stop and what a start! Everything was perfect. Warm, five-star treatment from start to finish. The location is ideal for exploring Barcelona, especially if you’re arriving by car. The train station is just a short walk away, and Uber works very well in the city (about €20 from the city center). What truly made the difference, though, were Ingrid and her father...such wonderful people. Just being around them made the whole booking worthwhile. We loved the place so much that, on our way back to France, we canceled our second hotel in Barcelona just to stay here again. Luckily, we found availability and didn’t hesitate for a second. We’re already counting the days until we can come back!

Cons: This field shouldn’t even exist here, because there’s nothing that we don't love about the place 😊👍

Fabulous stay in a gorgeous villa!

Pros: We had a stunning stay in this gorgeous, modern and very clean villa. Ingrid and her family are lovely and were very hospitable and helpful! I recommend staying here for a relaxing and quiet holiday.

Cons: Nothin

Pros: I stayed here with 6 friends for Prima Vera festival in Barcelona. Although a little far out of Barcelona, it was so easy to get around in taxis. Ingrid and her family were so welcoming and lovely, and always had an answer for any questions. The rooms were kept immaculately clean as was the pool and sunbathing area.
