Pension Ciudadela

Pros: Everything was as we expected, I really liked the place. Super location, nice and clean rooms, and friendly staff.

Cons: Just some small things. I'm not sure if the coffee machine was broken or if we couldn't figure it out, but 4 adults couldn't open the lever to replace the coffee pot. The bed was a bit narrow, but I guess in this room size that's the only option.

Pros: Location is great. Big generous window with a small balcony. Hospitable and friendly staff. Good value. Feels modern and a bit rustic at the same time.

Cons: I chose the room with its bathroom outside of the room. Its a nice bathroom but not ideal since the bathroom is just by the reception. So your bathroom visits become well known to the staff and other guests. I would pay a bit more for a room with its own bathroom.

Almost perfect

Pros: I loved the room. It was really confortable and with everything I needed. The shared space was also nice with free coffee and tea.

Cons: I almost liked everything but if I have to say one thing to improve, it is the sound isolation. I could hear the sounds from outside. Also, staying in the 6th room caused to hear quite louder the people using the shared space.

Pros: The receptionist Angi was really kind, the room was really clean. The hostel offers tea, coffee and snacks free of charge. There is a communal refrigerator where you can store drinks or anything you want. And is really close from the Gothic Quarter. Definitely I’ll return. :)

Cons: Nothing to complain

Pros: Nice room with large bathroom and shower in a top position to visit Barcelona. Staff kind and helpful!

Would highly recommend especially for solo female travellers

Pros: The room was very tidy, clean and just a very lovely place to stay at. Safety was good too, the hotel is right across from the train station and right near the park. Staff were very helpful and friendly- very responsive on app/messages. As a solo traveller I was very satisfied

Cons: No everything was satisfactory

Pros: Great location, easy to find and check in, cozy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. And a chance to make a cup of coffee first time in the morning is a big plus ;) overall very good place!

Great Little Hotel

Pros: Great location, rooms clean and had tea/coffee facilities just outside of it. Lovely rooftop terrace if you're a sun worshipper like me. Staff very friendly and helpful. Obviously if you want 5 star living then you need to book elsewhere and pay a lot more. Was perfect for our long weekend away as we just used for a base to sleep in and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again if I was to visit Barcelona :)

Great little hotel!

Pros: Modern renovated rooms, very clean, good temperature (heating / AC), comfortable bed, lots of hot water in shower, help yourself tea and coffee, staff person Andrea was very friendly and helpful 😊, and location was great (directly in front of train station) with lots of attractions nearby.

Cons: Old building outside have to look a bit for entrance, stairs and elevator old, not good for very elderly or handicapped persons.

Everyone frim hosts was of great help, they did everithing un a way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Pros: The location is amazing, also the rooftop that is available is cute and private, very cozy.

Cons: There is nothing.
