Pros: The hotel's location is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room cleaning was good.

Huge apartment in great location

Pros: Fabulous location within easy walk to most of tourist highlights of Barcelona. HUGE apartment with more space than we knew what to do with. Simply but pleasantly furnished. We had a corner apartment on the 4th? level with amazing view out over the intersection and down multiple streets. Easily walkable to many restaurants and bars.

Cons: Apparently limited hot water, but we never had an issue.

Well located, clean, large rooms.

Pros: We booked a triple room, but as we are travelling with our teenager, I contacted Violeta Boutique and asked if there was a possibility to change to give us all a little more space and privacy. They accommodated our request and gave us a larger room with two queen beds separated by a privacy wall. The room was fantastic! A large entry area, big beds, a great shower, a private balcony with room to sit out and enjoy the quiet view to the back of the buildings. The communal garden area, reception lounge and coffee/tea facilities were an added bonus for us to rest after check out and before getting transport to the airport. The staff were super friendly and gave us several complimentary bottles of water. Overall, a great experience.

Cons: We like having a Smart TV so we can watch a movie. We found that most accommodation we stayed at in Spain and France didn't have this. But such a small detail. Also, the lift/elevator stops at half floors so you do need to carry your luggage either up or down a half floor.

Pros: The room was comfortable and a reasonable size. The provision of a kettle and coffee machine was good. Good location.

Cons: There was noise from other rooms or floors but not during the night.

Pros: Very clean and tidy, great hot water and in a quiet but central location.

Pros: Amazing location, nice design, very welcoming staff.

Cons: The heating was centralized and turned too high, it was very hot and dry air and we could not turn it down.

Pros: The superb location, the small but enough breakfast, the quiet (quieter than our previous city) street. Great big bedroom

A great base!

Pros: This is our third stay at this hotel and our first with a child. The room was brilliant and really spacious. We had a sofa and TV too. There was a kettle and a coffee machine. Complimentary water was left in the room too. There was plenty of space for clothes to be hung up and stored. When we entered the room we almost had a mini hall way which was perfect for us to store the pushchair. The bathroom had a great sized shower. Everything was clean. A very friendly welcome. We were able to check in early too which was a bonus! They contacted us via WhatsApp to check our arrival time etc.

Cons: There is a lift but it doesn’t mean you won’t have to use the stairs. The lift lands between floors so we had to go down maybe five stairs to get to our room. It was fine for us but for some this may be something that they need to consider.

Excellent location, perfect stay for a family of 4

Pros: Location is super good, bed was bery comfortable, we had a double room, with 2 double bed and 2 bathrooms: perfect stay for a family of 4. We could reach all the main attractions in 20 mins walk max

Cons: One of the bathroom needed some maintenance, the shower did not work very well, but in general it was ok.

Pros: Location location location right in heart of city. Loved the old building and the room was spacious and bathroom clean. The host met us at building and was so helpful (which isn’t the norm in Spain). Loved it

Cons: Nothing really elevator is small but its inly on second floor if carting heavy luggage
