Pros: Staff were friendly, for a single room it had a reasonable amount of space, location was good

Cons: Entrance was a bit tricky to find the first time and air con wasn't as powerful as could have been.

Comfortable stay in a cosy and budget friendly hotel

Pros: The location is super convenient. The owners were very nice, they made me feel really safe and cared. The room got cleaned every day and overall it was quite clean.

Cons: The room was a little bit small and it did not have a window facing outside which inside quite dark. However, that is something I should have checked before.

Pros: My stay was absolutely amazing! The staff, the location, the bed - everything was top notch! Will come back for sure!

Pros: Best location to stay in Barcelona! Super convenient and staff is super friendly and helpful.

Cons: Noise insulation is not the best, be aware if light sleeper.

Pros: Superb location, convenient to get to different tourist attractions and comfy room

Cons: Soundproof not the best. Can hear people walking and talking.

Pros: The location was great and the lady that welcomed us was very responsive and nice. The building and elevator were amazing.

Cons: The furniture is nice but old, including beds. A small refrigerator would have been useful. The bed linen was not comfortable.

Pros: The hotel has a great location, the staff are friendly, and there's a 24-hour reception.

Cons: The rooms are small but adequate. There was dust on the floors; it hadn't been properly swept. I saw a tiny spider near the bathroom door at night.

Pros: Mainly I liked the proximity to various sights (Casa Batllo was few minutes away, walking distance of 10 to 20min for La Rambla, Gothic quarter, Plaça de Catalanaya etc). The hostal is in a very beautiful building on the 4th floor. The room was clean. Both ladies on reception were very nice and our room was always cleaned, beds made, towels changed while we were sightseeing. Overall, one of the cosiest places I've stayed in.

Cons: We had no issues.

Pros: Hostal Oliva is located on a crucial crossroad rich in tourist attractions, shops and public transport connections. The room was nicely furnished and located in an historical building. The room doesn't have a view of the main street, but it does have a window onto the building's patio. Anyway, it gives enough light and fresh air! The room were cleaned everyday and the host was such a sweet and welcoming lady!

Pros: - The location was great. We could reach many places by walk and there are metro station, bus station close by. - The staffs and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. - Beautiful historical building.

Cons: - The bathroom door was broken and could not be closed. We've informed the owners. - The wall is very thin. We could hear the noises from the corridor (talks, closing the door loud) It would be nice to have the sign so the guests can be mindful. - It's personal opinion. I think the room photos looks better than the actual ones.
