great location for walkable site seeing

Pros: location was excellent. close to the metro and walking distances to most the locations we wanted to visit and metro took us to locations we didn't feel like walking to. Bed was comfortable

Cons: Wifi was not dependable.Wifi would go off if in use for more than a few minutes then had to reconnect manually. Walls were paper thin. we heard all conversations and snoring from both neighbors. The street below was super noisy until after 2am. The ceiling fan has one speed... extra fast and makes loud and squealing noises. It was loud enough to minimize the conversations and snoring as well as the street noise so it acted like white noise if you could put up with it . We had a room with a washroom and unfortunately the smell from the toilet water or pipes flowed into the room.

Very nice stay!

Pros: Good location, easy check-in and access with 24h reception desk. Room basic but warm and renovated, clean and good shower.

Cons: Room without window (only to airhole) and only grey inside.

Very central

Pros: Very clean, always someone at the front desk. very close to EVERYTHING. For a “pension” it was MUCH better than I was expecting. No 5 star hotel, but perfect for our short stay. Front desk gentleman suggested a place to eat where the locals go - after 20 years of visiting (work / leasure) Barcelona, finally found a place that I will stay again

Cons: We don’t get to keep the room key or a front door key… but there is always someone at the front desk
