Hostal Excellence

Great value

Pros: Great location and a fantastic price. Single room was clean and very affordable. No issues with the shower, it just takes 5 mins to get hot water. Cheaper than most dorms.

Cons: Not enough power sockets.

Pros: Excelent location! Very friendly hosts. For this price the only other option were dormitories in hostels.

My stay at Hostal Excellence was, well, enjoyable.

Pros: Really Clean and Shining. A good smell Good vibes Grate location

Cons: Time to communicate, we're not immediately. but quite well.

Pros: I really liked the room, especially the fact that I had a balcony and a shower in the room. And I especially liked the location, it was close to many tourist areas and lots of shops.

Cons: On the other hand, the first thing I didn’t like was that I could barely sleep because of the hard pillows. They were so hard that I couldn’t rest my head on them. The second thing was the noise in the morning. The cleaning lady was making a lot of noise starting at 8 a.m., which woke us up. One morning, at 8 o’clock, she even knocked on the door and came into the room while we were still sleeping. It was very unpleasant.

Pros: the location was ideal, which made the stay enjoyable

Cons: The bed was directly on a metal frame, quite thin and not very comfortable. A wooden base would have made it much better

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay(seven nights) at Hostel Excellence.

Pros: Location, although we shared a bathroom it was always available to us when we needed it. Air conditioning in bedroom. Could have had room cleaned daily if we wished, however, it was only my daughter and I and we only needed it done post checking out. We did empty the bin and did request the towels changed when needed. Staff so accommodating. Occasional malodour from bathroom drain, but with heat and old drainage systems - it could be expected. Discovered before leaving that we could replenish our water containers at anytime in the kitchenette/sitting area.

Cons: Very little, plenty of stairs to keep one fit and occasional malodour from bathroom drain, nothing to complain about at all. Would stay there again.

Pros: A perfect stay for a weekend, even if you’re travelling alone. Good location, clean facilities and friendly staff.

Great value for money!

Pros: The location is amazing, it’s just off La ramblas and Plaça de catalunya. The room is nice with air con/ a fan/ WiFi/ sink/ towels/ closet/ hangers and a balcony. I found the bed comfortable and the staff friendly.

Cons: The only drawback is that you only get one set of keys and a keycard so if you’re staying with someone you have to enter together or if you misplace them there’s no one there at night to let you in.

Great place to stay. Met all expectations for a place to come and go with ease.

Pros: Great stay! Travelled to Barca for the football, and needed a place to rest before an early flight out. Staff were great, room was perfect, felt safe in the surrounding areas late at night too.

Cons: There wasn't really anything to dislike

Barcelona in April

Pros: Location was perfect in very city center. Bathroom was clean despite we had to share it. Overall i really liked the stay in this apartment.

Cons: There was nothing that i didnt like.
