Hostal Balkonis

Amazing stay with great staff, excellent cleanliness, and a perfect location, highly recommended!

Pros: Everything was great! The place was super clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and always ready to help. The location is fantastic- close to everything and very convenient for exploring the city.

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.

BALKONIS HOSTEL

Pros: Bed was super comfortable! Big room. All you needed.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Our room was clean, comfortable, and came with a private bathroom. The location is very convenient, especially if you’re flying out the next day. They also let us leave our luggage until 3 PM after check-out — which helped us a lot and we were really grateful for that. Overall, a great place for a short stay in Barcelona.

Convenient, speedy check-in

Pros: Quality bed, comfortable & spacious especially for the price

Cons: Bathroom fittings a little dated & could use the addition of water glasses ( or 2 paper cups even)

Thankyou Hostal Balkonis!

Pros: Staff so kind and helpful. The cleaning lady was cool too. Location was perfect, we walked everywhere with no problem. Spoilt for choice restaurants cafes bars markets etc. First time in Spain, highly recommend. Thankyou soooo much for everything. Cheers.

Pleasant stay for our short time in Barcelona!

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The property arranged self check-in for us as we were arriving outside of reception hours. They were also able to hold our bags for a few hours for us after we checked out before our flights. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly.

Cons: The exterior door to the courtyard/balcony did not lock.

Very simplistic but clean and comfortable

Pros: Staff were lovely Late check in was super easy Great location right by the metro and short walk into the central area

Cons: The room was incredibly simplistic which we were expecting to an extent, it would’ve been good to have a small fridge in the room though to store water, and the listing does say ‘inner courtyard view’ which is very generous as it essentially overlooks a small alley way. Overall quite expensive for what it was, but have to take into consideration we visited during Primavera so guessing the prices were inflated.

In total was ok.

Pros: location was great , nice access to public transport , and there was a nice cafe in the front to have breakfast.

Cons: The floor was not clean.

One of the largest rooms with a balcony at the central street

Pros: One of the largest rooms I have ever booked, King size bed and comfort. Basic facilities with a nice balcony to the central street, Comte d' Urgell.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit low quality for the room and it needs renovation, its door opens in a way that blocks someone to go to the toilet so they have to enter in a specific way. Big room but without heating system, a bit cold even for autumn season. Reception was not open all day, only until the afternoon.

Clean room, helpful staff, walking distance from City centre.

Pros: English speaking reception with good communications. Short walk to bars and restaurants
