Compact comfort in Sant Antoni

Pros: Our welcome from Lucas Badini was a delight. We arrived late on the train, but he was at the door to greet us and help us up the stairs with our bags. The apartment is said to be on the first floor, but there are two flights of stairs. The second flight also has a small elevator. The apartment is fine. The bedrooms were comfortable and have windows onto the rear if the building. The living room only has artificial light. We were out and about most of the time so this was okay. We were very happy to find a supermarket next door to the left and a lovely tapas/pinchos bar Anardi to the right. There are two metro stations nearby, the Mercat de Sant Antoni, and you're a short walk into the old centre and the Gothic Quarter.

Cons: Nothing really to report except Stay Unique will keep sending you information that - if you are older travellers like us - you might find annoying. I struggled with the on-line check-in and got nagged by email for not fully completing it. Luckily Lucas was very patient and completed it for me when we arrived. The lack of daylight bothered my husband by the end, and the fact that we could not lock the bedroom windows. We left the shutters down instead.

We had a great time in Barselona and apartment is great lokated. Grosery store beside the aparment.

Pros: The staff was very friendly. They accommodated our request for a late check-out until 7:30 PM for an additional fee of 50 euros, so we had the apartment for the whole day. They were very kind.”

Cons: The apartment is missing smaller pots; there are only large ones, and for us from the Balkan countries, a coffee pot (džezva) is missing. On the bed in the bedroom, the slats on one side are missing, so that side was sinking in. Everything else is fine. Dishwashing detergent would be appreciated so that we don't have to use the dishwasher for every small thing.

Pros: Excellent location and a well-equipped apartment. The check-in host was friendly and very helpful. Apartment near metro stations , restaurants and supermarkets.

Cons: The property is generally comfortable, but it can get quite hot in warmer months — adding another air conditioning unit would make a big difference. Please note the lift starts from the first floor, so heavy luggage needs to be carried up one flight of stairs.

Excellent little apartment. Great Central position near plenty of amenities, bars, restaurants and metro. Short walk -1

Pros: Central to bars, restaurants, metro Clean Comfortable Provided with towels, toiletries. All kitchen essentials provided WiFi, Netflix

Cons: Aircon in lounge but not bedrooms, not a problem if you leave bedroom doors open

5 days stay

Pros: The apartment is located in a busier center location with many restaurants, cafes and shops near it. The metro line to majority of the attractions is 6min of walk and we walked for train to Montserrat just 20min to Placa Espanya. The apartment had everything u could need - from fully equiped kitchen to shower gels and towels. The shower pressure was the best and the windows didnt lock, just slide but there were heaters u could turn on if cold. The woman who welcomed us showed us everhthing and recommended a restaurant as well.

Cons: You cant hear the traffic from the apartment, however if you or the neighbours play music or even laugh louder you can definitely hear it. The beds were a bit soft for us but nothing too bad.

Perfect yet calm location, good value for money.

Pros: Very well equipped apartment in a perfect location. During 4 days stay we never eat further than 10 minutes from the apartment, and always in a different yet amazing restaurant. Supermarket in the same building. Apartment is located on the courtyard side, so is very calm despite super central and hip location. Public transport (bus and metro) is available in a couple of minutes. Additionally, the staff took care of all our additional requests (extra heater) in no time. Plus we got a birthday surprise, because one of us has birthday during our stay :)

Brilliant to have a base to relax in between busy sightseeing.

Pros: The lady organising check in was brilliant- extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. Well equipped small flat- lots of glasses and cups etc and it is reasonably priced, starter pack of dishwasher tabs provided. The location was enjoyable- nice casual tapas bars etc nearby. Easy walking into the centre. Next to well equipped grocery store which was very handy.

Cons: The water tank is reasonably small and so efficiency of showering is required! The doors would benefit from painting- the rest of the decor is bright and crisp looking.

Pros: The apartment was quiet, bright and had everything we needed. The location was great, on a nice street within walking distance of lots of shops/restaurants/cafes and public transport links. Tomás kindly met us earlier than our anticipated check-in time to give us our keys and let us leave our bags indoors. It was also absolutely spotless. We stayed there for a work trip and it was perfect.

Pros: We liked the location, and host who met us was very helpful, place was well equipped as well.

Cons: Everything was great

Pros: The best thing about it was the location, we liked everything about the apartment. Little supermarket next to it, Sant Antoni Market, metro access, walking distance to Barri Gotic. Fully equipped kitchen etc.
