Lodging Apartments City Center-Eixample

Barcelona is a lovely relaxed city with excellent public transport. Lots that see.

Pros: Ideal location. Comfortable apartment and well equipped.

Good stay

Pros: Nice apartment in a great location. The staff is very friendly every time we saw them. We needed extra laundry detergent during our stay and this was no problem. We stayed here with our toddler and it was spacious enough. I wouldn't stay here with more than two adults though (even though it's being sold as a four-person apartment). I saw some complaints about the fact that you still need to take a flight of stairs after getting out of the elevator. This did not bother us, but you probably shouldn't bring a big stroller when traveling with kids. I was a bit annoyed beforehand when I received a link to authorize the deposit from my cc (which came with a 6 euro non-refundable fee), but it turned out you could just authorize the deposit in the office during check-in without additional fees.

Cons: No dishwasher.

Great stay, central location.

Pros: Centrally located within walking distance of main tourist sites. Smooth check in and check out process, apartment is very comfortable and clean. Suits smaller stays 2-4 nights if in town for business or visiting.

Had a great stay and wished I’d booked longer to enjoy so much more.

Pros: Location, accessibility to everything. Good size and a very good layout. Loved opening the balcony doors every morning. Had everything as advertised.

Cons: I didn’t realise that these apartment properties were located on an exceptionally busy intersection.

Travel to Barcelona

Pros: We lived in an apartment hotel for a week. A small apartment with a miniature kitchen is quite enough: shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, detergents, everything is as described. There is a kettle, a small coffee machine, cutlery, a washing machine - everything works fine. The mattresses are too soft (for me), but comfortable, I slept well. I can't say about the pillow, because I took my own orthopedic one. The staff was friendly, helpful and explained.

Cons: I definitely did not like the location of the hotel, which is located at an intersection with very heavy traffic. It's very noisy both day and night! It was impossible to sleep with the windows open, we had to close them. I used earplugs, but I could still hear the hum of car traffic. There is no air conditioning, but in the bedroom there is an opening of the ventilation system under the ceiling. I don't know if she was working or not, because there was no feeling of fresh air. The elevator did not work for several days, and it was not easy to climb to the 3rd floor after a long walk, especially if there were knee problems. There is a very dirty carpet on the floor in the hall, requiring immediate washing or wet cleaning. Sleeping on the couch in an unfolded state is a real test for a person! The front leg supporting the cot and mattress is not fixed, it bends all the time. The sofa holds together like an old cart when a sleeping person turns from side to side, and the front leg knocks on the floor. I think that the neighbors on the lower floor also heard this rumble. I even sympathized with them. The sound insulation was not very good, you could hear the neighbors talking and the TV was working. And now about the money: the tourist tax and the security deposit. At the time of booking, the amounts were lower, upon arrival and check-in, the amounts, for some reason, suddenly increased. The staff explained this by the new hotel rules, which we were not warned about. We are waiting for the return of the deposit. I hope we'll wait.

Pros: The location of this property was great. It is only minutes walk from La Sagrada Familia Basilica which was a highlight. Walkable also to the port.

Cons: The hot water took a while to work once water was switched on.

It was great!

Pros: The property is clean and relatively close to the city attractions. The train stations and bus stops are also walkable from the apartment. The apartment is also equipped with stove, washing machine, and small clothes rack, and iron/ironing board. The staff are lovely and have been accommodating since we checked in. We were also allowed to check in a bit early since our flight arrived early in Barcelona

A good place to stay for an enjoyable trip.

Pros: It was easy to organise our arrival in advance. The hosts at reception were friendly. The room was adequately equipped. The beds were comfortable. The location was good for the Sagrada Familia. There was a supermarket and eating places nearby. The receptionist ordered a taxi for us when we asked and assisted with TV issues (not their fault).

Cons: It was a bit noisy from the busy road. It was quite expensive for a fairly small apartment although it was a bank holiday weekend.

Pros: Easy to get a taxi right outside. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby
