Gatell Hotel

Value for money at a very good location.

Pros: Entree and reception are great. The staff is excellent. As soon as you leave the elevator you are in a different building. Basic is the right word. Clean but basic. Value for money indeed.

Cons: Thin wall, slamming doors, a bit too basic for me.

An enjoyable stay.

Pros: I found the hotel useful because it was close to the station. I also visited the Railway Museum which the hotel is close. The hotel also gave me a chance experience a normal working Spanish town. The Pausa cafe where I had breakfast was very good.

Cons: I cannot think of anything.

Pros: Very clean, staff very helpful. Close to all facilities

Cons: Noisy TV next door.

Pros: Breakfast was nice at the cafe at the corner at the bottom of the street. Staff were nice as always. My rating of 8 is for both rooms. Room 403 = 5 Room 407 = 10

Cons: Room 403 - A/C remote controller does not work with the Samsung unit. I could turn the A/C on from a button at the bottom of the unit, and it was putting out cold air. However, when we returned to the room after midnight, the room was warm, and no one in reception for me to talk to, and I doubt they could help unless they gave me the correct controller or had moved us to another room. I had to sleep on the hard floor to keep cool. I hardly slept all night. Room 407 was good for my 2 children.

Pros: The hotel is very clean and we had a nice big terrace and a bathtub

Cons: The room rate was expensive. There was no minifridge or tea / coffee kettle

Place to stay whilst working in the area officiating a symbolic wedding ceremony, perfect location

Pros: The Location was perfect, literally a few minutes from the train station, making arrival easier. Situated next to museums, within 10-15 minutes of the main restaurants, supermarkets, local shops and beach. The room was spacious, with desk for work. Clean, comfortable bed. Decoration modern, also with lift, which is important when on the higher levels. Reception space very contemporary and able to wait, relax there pending room availability and after checking out. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming and answered any questions I had, specifically helping with local taxi company for later onward journey to the airport.

Cons: Nothing that I didn´t like, the hotel exceeded my expectations and met my needs for a working stay.

Pros: I appreciated the welcome and the professionalism of the reception staff, especially when I arrived, the staff is very welcoming with a smile and their availability. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Pros: The lady on reception was very kind and helpful. We had a room with a balcony which was very nice. They freshened up our room every day. Nice bar and ground floor lounge area. Lovely quiet but powerful heater/air on unit in room. Lift available. Powerful easy to operate shower. Nice and clean throughout. Plenty drawers and cupboard space.

Cons: Could be a little noisy late on Saturday night (only distant though as we were on the 4th floor). I was too tired for it to bother me but if you are sensitive it might bother you a little. I guess the best thing to do, if that is the case, would be to go to the bar and join the fun 😆

Excellent vallue for money and location.

Pros: Fantastic location for station/travelling into Barcelona 3 mins walk to station. Also 20 mins walk from Vilanova Grand Marina (fast walk). Value for money. Friendly efficient staff and very clean.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The staff, very friendly and helpfully, and the location, near by to the train and the bus station
