Pros: Close to town ,nice staff ,nice bar to chill in, room smelt of bad drains, but everything else was great!!

Cons: Bad smell in room, i didnt mind too much but if my wife was with me she would not of been happy.

Lovely stay

Pros: Location nice quiet area, easy to get to the old town and to the beach. Station close by. Nice to have a fridge.

Cons: Room was a little dark as not much natural light. Window faces an inner court yard.

Perfect Hotel - Mataró, Barcelona.

Pros: This hotel is a gem! The location was perfect for what I wanted (I was attending a friend's wedding at a beautiful church only a 10 minutes' walk away). The hotel is also close to the beach and harbour. Also, it's only a short walk from the train station where you can catch a return train into the centre of Barcelona (for about €10) and be there in around 50 minutes. Mataró itself is a lovely town and I'd highly recommend it. The New Hotel Colon staff were all amazing, particularly the young woman on the reception desk, I'm afraid I didn't catch her name. The food in the restaurant was also delicious! I would happily stay here again next time I'm in Barcelona and recommend it to anyone travelling to the area.

Cons: I struggled with the AC in the room but that was probably my own fault. I know the hotel staff would have happily assisted me had I asked but I didn't want to trouble them. This was my only issue and it wouldn't stop me staying here again, everything else was pretty perfect.

Pros: We had a really great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, the beach is very close, the staff are super friendly, and the food at the hotel was excellent. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and overall, we were really happy with our stay.

Cons: The only thing we didn’t like was that it was quite stuffy during the day because the window looked out onto an inner space instead of outside, so there wasn’t much fresh air. At night it felt more comfortable, though. Other than that, everything was absolutely great!

Pros: It's very good option for staying in Mataro. The hotel is located in 5-7 min from the sea. The staff is hospitable, the rooms were cleaned every day excellent.

Cons: We took 2 rooms. If you have a choice, it's better to choose the improved room, because in standard room you feel a little stuffy: the condy system works better in a better level rooms and the windows opens inside yard.

Comfortable hotel next to the beach

Pros: The location, close to the beach and not far from the train station. It’s a fancy hotel, very comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, with 24 h reception. Breakfast was good and varied, great coffee! My room had a small fridge and bath tub. Looking forward to coming here again!

Cons: Nothing. Everything was just perfect.
