RVHotels Spa Vila de Caldes - Adults only

Caldes de Montbui is a lovely Spanish Village and great to visit, 47 minutes by car to Barcelona.

Pros: This is a nice hotel and was surely a very nice place in its day before it became a \

Cons: This is a digitally accessed hotel i.e. there are no reception staff, you need to complete an on-line form to obtain an access code which will allow you to enter the hotel and then your room. Breakfast is served in another place but you email the on-line reception first to arrange. Had I known this in advance it would have been much easier to accept, instead of discovering this as I stood in pouring rain trying to complete an on-line form on my mobile phone. The up-side is obviously the price which is very fair.

Pros: The pool has a great view, the room is big, the Whatsapp communication works really well

Cons: They should clarify on Booking that the Spa is closed/not covered by the standard fare, there is no one to ask in person (everything is covered via Whatsapp), the TV was not a SmartTV and they could not provide a HDMI cable

Pros: Great comfy bed, HUGE room, excellent location (plenty of restaurants and markets around) and just a few meters to the historical center of the town.

Cons: The spa and pool wasn't available even if the weather was quite warm. Most facitlies were just not working, what is a bit disappointing. Also the rooms need some maintenance. The check-in experience was so-so ( they told me I should had received a code via email but I hadn't received anything).

Pros: Didn’t have breakfast, location is quiet , nice little town , parking was difficult

Best hotel if you visit Caldes de Montbui

Pros: I was astonished by the room and the bath tub. The room was HUGE for what one could expect from a 3* hotel. Extremely comfortable beds, and also a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi-like tub that we enjoyed a lot. The neighbourhood is lovely and, while we didn't try the hotel's restaurant, we found an excellent cheap yet tasty restaurant (at the Centre Cívic i Cultural) just a few meters from the hotel. Also the hotel itself is offered as a spa service but we didn't have the chance to try it.

Cons: There was nothing I disliked. When you have such a beautiful room paying just a fraction of what you'd expect, there isn't much left to complain about. I will stay at this hotel during my next visit to

Pros: A great location right in the centre of the town, we were at the back of the hotel, with views across to hills, and the room was quiet. Given we were there at the start of great Fiesta Major that was a real bonus. The room was large and bed very comfortable. Looked a bit dated, likewise the bathroom, but well-maintained.

Beautiful hotel with lovely Spa facilities

Pros: The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a huge room and bathroom in very good condition. The spa is lovely, absolutely loved it, so relaxing. It is an old style with separate small rooms, each with a different thing - one with Jacuzzi, one with steam room etc. It was a fantastic experience and would recommend.

Cons: The breakfast was nice, nothing wrong with the food provided, the only negative is as I am vegetarian there was not as much choice for me. This is quite usual though so I wasnt surprised but would be nice to have some more options.

Way better than expected; luxury stay at a fair price

Pros: Lovely room; a lot of space, very relaxing, with a very big tub. Staff were lovely too.

Pros: The beds were super comfortable .The room was clean and modern . very convenient for us as we were going to the Spanish Grand Prix . The little town is lovely .

Cons: would have been good to have coffee and tea facilities in the room . The breakfast wasn’t good .
